General Discussion / Re: List of the Best Rom hacks!
« on: December 20, 2008, 02:35:34 pm »
I might as well mention this particular hack. It's the coolest Megaman 2 hack I've ever played. It's called "Rockman no Constancy." The graphics, soundtrack (which is glorious IMO. I even burned it onto a CD), weapons, enemy patterns, and levels have all been redone.

Nah. It does sound like something I'd do if I were bored, though. Just for giggles.

Assume that 1999 A.D did come rolling around and the world ended? I had a nightmare about that when I was a kid....oddly enough when I tried to beat Chrono Trigger WAY too early and got the bad ending. It was pretty vivid. Lavos actually crawled out of his hole and decided to trudge through the city annihilating everything, creating misery in his wake. Kind of like a Godzilla movie, which I am a huge fan of by the way. For some strange reason, there were people cocooned to buildings like in Alien....

King Ghidorah and Lavos could swap e-mail addresses.

Hola, senior. I have no squiggly button on my keyboard. Well, one that's over the "n".

So until they make that button, you're old. Welcome to the Compendium.

You whippersnapper. Pleasure to meet you too.

That pic should've been directed at Kato.

If Lavos did exist in the real world, I wonder if he'd charge for rides? Like at a carnival?

"Ride the Intergalactic Parasite! 3 Tickets!"

Thanks!

Sigma's head attaching itself to a huge battle body is pretty much EVERY single Megaman X end boss, save for Megaman X8. The addition of Sigma's head to anything makes it 10x stronger, and the addition of Schala to anything causes the universe to end. The combination of the two? UNSTOPPABLE.

Though I honestly couldn't stop laughing when I made that. I was in hysterics for about an hour.

WELCOME.

That is, if you've watched the Mortal Kombat movie before.

In either case, I'm new to these here forums and wanted to say YO. I've been a Chrono fan since the game first came out on the SNES, and still to this day. Besides that, I'm also a big Megaman fan.....as if you couldn't tell.

I own a couple of Chrono-related items, such as the original soundtrack that I imported after the game's release. Does anyone remember the Chrono Cross clock that came out? I own that too. I even snagged those little Cross key chains by Banpresto. I had to get it because they made a Harle key chain. Harle's awesome. I've been collecting crap ever since I was a kid, and since I've reach adulthood....it's gotten worse.
