Just graduated high school. My college graduation ceremony is on Friday. They had great cake!
I wish we had wizard hats instead of the cardboard topped hats.

It's a miracle, yo!

I really, REALLY hope that band is just playing stupid. What depresses me most is that my little brother is a fan, and is always trying to get ahold of their licensed soda.

http://us.macmillan.com/zeuskingofthegods Comics! The series is fairly new, the first book only released this January. The second, following Athena, was released last month. There are supposed to be ten more.
Probably not the most accurate accounts, but the series is aimed at junior high students, with study guides floating all over the place. It should be good as a refresher, or at least an entertaining read. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to obtain a copy of either book, but the excerpts are pretty awesome.

Disaster! There are no more copies of Starcraft II Collector's Edition available! I currently hate myself for waiting so long to make the call.

Isn't it obvious? Giant "codipiece filler" is stinking hilarious. And awesome. Partially because a lot of people expected it. Crono isn't usually seen as the type to beat up cats, but that's what makes it funny. Maybe he even got XP from it! Frankly, it seems like something that would be seen in lots of old cartoons.

Though I have to wonder... will that joke from the statue page raise any questions amongst the party when they meet Magus in his castle?

Like learn about the floating bridge or revel in Fluff Season! Too bad it isn't in full swing yet.

Your friend might not be this way, but whenever I have family visiting from the Southern states, they're absolutely awed by how many trees we have (and how the leaves stay on the ground). Everyone always want to visit the floating bridge, too, and I never even knew it was anything special until I met tourists.

I have to completely agree with Rushingwind on the music bit. And on that note, I think Loituma's Levan Polka is one of the best songs to draw to. So energetic!

So you all know about my recent foray into Greek mythology. I've been seeing references to it everywhere.  The funniest one? Spongebob. Almost every episode has some fishperson praying to or swearing by Neptune. When Neptune actually shows up, he's portrayed very accurately (aside from the obsession with burgers). The best line: (referring to a big storm) "Huh, Neptune must be angry tonight." "That's silly, everyone knows Poseidon's king of the sea!" Its the same person, the Romans just gave him a different name.

Whatever happened to the doujin/manga team we had here? They weren't violating anything (that I know of), and running comics with consistent updates are a great way to maintain interest. Not like CHRONO COMIX (which is still really fun), but something that has a real plot. Maybe even feature Mysticalpha's comic.

Everyone knows Janus needed a wetnurse until he was twenty. Ozzie's such a great parent.

The bagpipe is an awesome and underloved instrument. Aside from funerals and military demonstrations, I've only heard it in heavy metal bands. I'd love to hear bagpipes in more mainstream music, or in an orchestra. Tell us about this glorious project!

I'm getting the urge to make something again. Problem is, I don't have any clay, no sewing machine, and I don't know how to carve. Indecision and lack of materials sucks.

Speaking of Dragonforce! They do have some very good music, but I can only remember two of their songs. Through the Fire and Flames (of course), and another one which I think is called Flame of Youth. They're very good to work out too. And, yes, they are epic.
