You're absolutely right! :D   We should set up rules like that so people can't submit crappy fanfics before the higher authorities look through them!

I'll be more than willing to write up a few short entries that have to do with CT, since I've played it a bjillion times.  I can't do CC stuff, though, since I don't have a Playstation.

V_Translanka said that Crono is some kid with a wooden sword.  Actually, you can make him have a mop, which again proves the point that he's just some loser pansy and that he'd get his arse kicked by Magus.

General Discussion / New Double and Triple Techs
« on: November 07, 2004, 06:21:54 pm »
If you could create your own double or triple tech in CT, what would it be?

For example:

Destruction

Crono: Luminaire
Lucca: Flare
Magus: Darkmatter

The three would cast their best spells, and do about 6000 damage to enemies. Since it is incredibly cheap, it costs 50 MP for everyone, even if they have gold studs.

Dark Frog

Frog: Frog Squash
Magus: Darkmatter

While Magus is casting Darkmatter, Frog stands in the middle of the two triangles.  He is charged up by the magic, morphs into a huge evil frog, and charges across the screen, giving everyone a lot of damage.

Personally, I think Magus would win, since while Crono would be taking out his sword, Magus would just use Black Hole on him.

I know that in the game, you beat Magus, but in this topic, put that aside.

Who would win in a battle, Magus or Crono, and why?

The bit about the Nu in Keepers Dome saying, "Time Axis out of order", he says it if you're using a code to skip to diffferent parts of the game.  If you go to Keeper's Dome before you're supposed to, the Nu will say that.  I've never done this myself, so could someone please confirm that this is true?

[1. I don't like most Fanfiction at all, almost enough to make it a rule.]
No offense, but didn't you you yourself write a fanfic?
If you are offended by my question, than I'm really sorry.[/quote]

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Ozzie's Pants
« on: November 07, 2004, 05:21:12 pm »
Thanx!  I was worried that I'd have to go through the game another 3 times (not that that's a bad thing) just to get Ozzie's Pants for every playing character.  I just don't have the time for that, since I'm still a Freshman in High School.

I know that if you put on Ozzie's Pants, you start out with Confuse.  If you have other status protecting armor on, though (moon armor, prism dress, etc.), do you still start off with chaos? :?:

It's such a shame that Square Enix told the guys remaking Chrono Trigger to stop!  I never really got the full story, so could someone help me catch up on that?

It'd be pretty cool if someone made their own sprites like that, and put them up on the site.  Seriously, Robo would own everyone if he had treads instead of legs!

It doesn't really matter whether or not you save her legs.  The ending just becomes slightly different.

I know it's a text based game, but how long does it actually take to beat?
