The rudeness of this forum is nice. You request information about the item, I come up with a possibility that you could very well research, but instead I get told to stop posting, then called "idiot" by ZealKnight and "jackass" and "moron" by the topic creator. I don't think I insulted any of you. And I don't know why the hell you keep writing like 'this'.
Don't worry, this doesn't talk bad about the Compendium, it just makes you two look like complete pricks. I won't go down to your level and insult you back (save for pricks). I wish you luck in your research.

Well, that's a possibility, but I sort of always ruin stuff when ripping. 
If anyone has a good rip program or the videos themselves I'd be grateful.

dankun: I'll take my chances on deciding if I bother to post or not. I did not post misleading nor tried to be ambiguous, and I don't take pleasure in trolling or lying on purpose. On the contrary, I posted information from my memory (corroborated by my unhacked Chrono Cross save file) which could lead to experimentation from Compendium members to try to find something in that exact battle.
I don't remember the exact names of all monstrosity of CC, sorry. I could grab a screen of my game file with digital camera or something, but I guess that wouldn't help since you can gameshark it anyway. I still keep my call up for Compendium members to experiment on that fight, since I do know I got it as a spoil.

I thought it was clear that the Entity is the Planet.

- Chrono Cross on Lavos' influence
a) The first Nu appeared shortly after Lavos crashed in 65,000,000 B.C.
b) As greatly said by BROJ, they seemed to follow the step of the rescuers of the Planet (the 3 philosophers in Zeal and the time heroes). They were also near important objects to save the Planet by helping the time heroes.
c) Gran, Leon and Doreen are Dream Species (taking the form of the sword/swallow) that are affected by the dreams/hopes/will of their contact. Maybe Nu are also Dream Species seeing how Gasch/Belthasar was able to imbed his memories and will on him. Or maybe that Nu was just a robot replica with Nu appearance.
Back to the Lavos quote I made: if Lavos cultivated dreams and the first Nu appeared almost right after Lavos, maybe Lavos made the Planet itself begin to have its dream (see: last japanese save file title on CT retranslation, or the heavy implications on CC of the Planet having a dream).
If so, it's not too farfetched to think Nu are manifestations of the Planet's dream, much like Gran, Leon and Doreen are to Bosch's or Turnip to the Acacia Dragoon's.

Has anyone considered Time Crash as a factor that could have pulled Leah and the dinosaurs to that time?
When Dinopolis was pulled by the planet to counter-balance Chronopolis, maybe it also pulled Leah and whatnot for balance too. Of course, it's a vague theory, since one would have to know planet's space-time balance mechanics to affirm anything.

Oh my, I just saw the enciclopedia and I want to make a very important correction. Ghetz shirt CAN be obtained without gameshark. I do not own a gameshark and I just double checked my lots-years-old Chrono Cross save. As I remembered, I have the Ghetz shirt.
I never knew about the Hydra Marshes rumor, but I can tell you where to obtain it: Isle of Damned.
I'm not sure if recruiting Greco is a requierement, if any at all. But I vividly remember how I got it, it was when you're Lynx and you're gonna go against Garai. On the isle there is a creepy armor (around the end with the mirror puzzle) standing somewhere, and it will get you into a battle (hard if first game) with many armor monsters. I vividly remember getting the Ghetz Shirt as a spoil.
I never ever had idea it was a rare item, I was just "oh, Ghetz, that's Greco's dead friend" and continued. I repeat myself, I do not own a gameshark nor have used one. I know I got it from these armor monsters, which you can only battle once at isle of damned (armor disappears after the battle). Maybe that set of enemies is unique, different from the ones from Viper Manor (I think they also appared there).
Anyway, don't believe me if you don't want, go experiment, I'm sure it's obtainable without game shark, seeing I have it. I only have one though.

I'm looking for a good rip of Chrono Trigger PSX videos, one with the BEST QUALITY POSSIBLE, so I can capture image and whatnot.
I have them actually in 3 avi videos I got long time ago: opening (26mb), events (22mb) and ending (11mb), but the size is really small and pixelated. I'm looking for a pro rip.
I even own the japanese version of CT for PSX but have no idea or time on how to make a good rip =X and probably there is already a good one out there, so, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Edit: Oh yes <.< please don't mention Blue Laguna... these rips are worse quality than the ones I have.
