Sailor Phantom:

It seems like your just having really weird tile/sprite priority issues.  Maybe using an old emulator?  For example the Big portal is there it's just hidden behind tiles (you can tell cause you can see it behind the candles).  I'm guessing the blue beam is behind he mountain......portal is behind towers/sprites behind portal and the saved game is behind the text instead of in front of it.

Yeah, probably. Oh and I used the patch you put up and it works. Plus, all the things I mentioned, all work normally.

80
The new patch worked great for me.

So after I go to Frog, give him the Hero medal, and get the other piece of the Masamune, the portal doesn't show up. It doesn't open and the character disapear behind it when they go through. It also happened when I arrived at Medina village in 1000 AF.

When I go to save my game, the text overlaps it and looks like this:

When Frog takes the Masamune, the blue glow doesn't appear.

The big blue portal doesn't show up when Lavos wakes up.

None of this has happened to me though, weird.
Really? Well now that's odd. Good though. Maybe it just doesn't like me. ;P

Will do. Should I go ahead and put what I said here in that thread?

Oh, and THANK YOU for doing this! It is so awesome!! I don't know if I'll be able to play the normal CT again. XD

Thought I'd do some more exploring this round and when I went to the Zenan bridge the music stopped and when I left (to Truce) I got the black screen of death. That's all for now. If I find any more, it'll be tomorrow.

Well, I found some intersting bugs.
When everyone is going to leave, the text goes nuts, about half you can't read and the rest are quotes from the game.

And it acts like that until Crono stands next to Lucca and Marle and the game stops but the music continues.

Suckatude. I'll look into it, I never said this Beta was flawless. Though, I never encountered this...I'll see what I can do to reproduce it. I see that you made it to the end though...any other problems while playing this?
There was one other thing in the Black Omen, but I didn't think much of it. The game froze when Magus gained a level. I continued on, tried it again, and it kept going like normal. I didn't take a screen shot and I forgot where it was. I'd have to play it through again :D to remember any other bugs I came across. I was focused on beating Lavos. Btw, the intro, is awesome.

I'm getting the same thing, a black screen. I know it's an Un-headered ROM, but it's won't work.

That is the most subtly charming avatar ever. Saved.
Thank you, I worked very hard on it. :D

So far it seems that doing the Fiona quest last is working and I'm having no trouble going through time.
Also, when I talked to the chef in 1000 AF, the game apeared to keep going but Crono refused to move.

Don't want to double post so I'm editing this again.
I did all the quests, and it turns out that after you do Fiona's quest, you can't go back to 600 AF any more.

Shouldn't Marle be infront of the king?

The wording for this one just seemed off.

And I edit it again!
When I go through that door, I get the Black Screen of Doom!

88
I have been trying to go to 600 AF but I get the Black Screen of Death. This is after I finished the Fiona quest. I'm going to try doing all my 600 AD quests before that one and see if that makes any differance. Unfortionitly this means I have to go all the way back to Death Peak again.

I'm using the Snes9X, not for Mac though.

I found a couple bugs that haven't been mentioned. When I went to the fair to get the Crono clone, the whole front end and Gato had messed up text.

I took these after I got Crono back.

Concerning what FalconHit said earlier about the silver points. I was able to get the clone after fighting Gato a couple times. Even though the guy who trades silver points for money said I had none.

So far, the game is awesome! I found a few other bugs, most of which I forgot. When I started Fiona's quest to save the forest, and went into the sunken desert, the game froze for the first battle. Tried it again and it worked fine. Note: I went down the first time then went left the second try.

I'll probably play it again and try to catch the bugs I had found before.
