I've been playing Skies of Arcadia with friends and I've been pretty much nailing every plot point AND even minor story details so far.
There's a mysterious girl dressed in white--oh, is she from the moon? Yes.
There are colored moons corresponding to areas on the map? Is there also a secret, black moon? Check.
They're running away from a boss. Camera switches in front--will Fina trip? Yes.

It's kind of fun. That game is so tropey, but it's really really good. The characters are all great and I don't hate the main character for once.

I got my hair cut really short and dyed lime green. So that's kind of amusing in and of itself. But, the main thing is, when it was bleaching, I looked exactly like Draco Malfoy for a while.
It was pretty great. :P

Endomorph, Mesomorph, Ectomorph...you must add a Xenomorph to those one day!

Ahaha, I wish! He just wanted humanoid body types, otherwise I definitely would have thrown one in there!

It was awesome. Just wow. O_O They made Hulk--not just Bruce Banner, but HULK--into a likeable character.

Also Joss Whedon did it.

FIGURE DRAWING:
Midterm: Two pairs of hands and one pair of feet:
Tentative (line)
Solid (value)
INK FEET WOO also a leg

Final: Four self portraits. More info in the descriptions.
Fear
Romance...now you know what Red and I look like! And the answer is adorable~<3

The scanner killed the values on the last one but only in the sky so I'm ok with it.

Aaaah~I got a B+ in Figure Drawing, now I just gotta wait for my other grades...the site is down so I can't see them! :<
Also I couldn't post my TC&C final because I didn't have time to get a picture or scan it so you'll have to wait till later I guess! It's not as good as the figure drawing ones from a technical standpoint bu~ut I'm okay with it because I have blue hair and all the things wrong with it I know to not do in the future.

I always just landed in the middle of town if I could, but if I couldn't (Guardia, the domes, whatever) I landed a reasonable distance away.

If it was my friend Gwen though...he'd just park on top of people's houses or right at the mouth of the cave or whatever. That guy can't part airships worth beans.

I'm skeptical, of course, but it has some good points. I'm sure it runs deeper than "Well women choose different jobs!" but it's still interesting.

Magus was 5'9"?! That means Red could cosplay as him and be the right height! Too bad he's an adorable, freckle-faced kid with a kitty-cat nose...he wouldn't look the part even a little.

General Discussion / Re: So, I Had This Interesting Dream...
« on: April 02, 2012, 07:58:15 pm »
I was in a country that existed as a large city in the clouds, where people could shapeshift at will after storing up enough energy, and where dreams were used as a way to augment reality...somehow.
I was a guard in the castle's throne room, when the doors suddenly open, and a tiny girl with pink hair who is obviously exhausted runs in and tries to tell the king something before passing out. They capture her, but then discover that her brain is infested with memory particles, which are little parasites that hang out in certain memories, and when a person thinks of that memory, or thoughts close to it, they absorb some energy from the person. They'd infested the memories of what she wanted to tell the king, and so she'd drained all her energy dwelling on it before showing up, since she didn't know better. So I was looking in while doctors did "dream surgery" to remove them. They suggested she might have short-term amnesia regarding the infested areas, but that it her memory would return in full in time.

Also it was a cool place and the atmosphere was..bubbly and sparkly...it was neat.

I came on here knowing full well that the post was an April Fool's Day post, and I STILL got all excited for a second...

Assignment for Tone/Color/Comp: Take an object (I chose a strawberry) and show it in the six states of safety (going from in-your-face-augh danger to faraway-peaceful-not dangerous) using value and composition.

I got the best critique in the class~he only had one thing to say that was wrong with it, and everything else was aaawesome~oh man I was on cloud nine!

Here they are.

Is the dream of Zeal within our grasp?

Brooke hasn't developed past age 1, is 18 years old

As interesting as that is, it makes me wonder. Is she really aging slowly, or her body just doesn't change, and will die once she hits an average age or something? Hmm...

Yeah, there's always that question. TEST HARDER, SCIENTISTS! Analyze ALL the genes!
