There's a thread for this somewhere... But seeing as how our threads sometimes start somewhere and end up somewhere else, no telling where it's at...
Anywho, my PERSONAL belief is that Doreen might be an avatar associated with the pendant (just like Masa and Mune are avatars associated with the Masamune sword). Perhaps, then, Doreen was able to 'unlatch' the pendant when Marle got sucked through, allowing the pendant to remain behind (and effectively choosing Crono as a savior).

I just wish Final Fantasy XII had a stronger plot. It's there, alright, and clearly if you read the creature information and all that there's a lot more depth to the world of FFXII Ivalice. I feel like so much information got left out though.
I did like how Vaan was just an average guy, and was only a background player in the true plot of the game (even though he was the "main character". The story truly belonged to Ashe.
Does that make sense? You know how for most RPGs your main character is some uber-human with a sordid past, and somehow they themselves are the key to the planet's salvation? In FFXII the "main" character, Vaan, was just a background player.

And just think: that was just a taste. JUST A TEASE.
The final product... Oh man. Can't wait.

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Re: Lavos' shell is a spaceship?

I still of Lavos more as a cosmic animal. Just like some earth animals can create electromagnetic currents (and others can detect them), a Lavoid would be capable of creating a pocket dimension.

Yeah, I LOVED Majora's Mask. It was different (for a Zelda game), but I loved it.

Plus, any connection between the word 'Dream' and 'Doreen' create a literal link between Doreen and the "cosmic", dream-like existence of Masa, Mune, and obviously Doreen.

Let it be known. Because of my respect for Thought, two days ago I watched TWO full episodes of Doctor Who. It was so incredibly cheesy that I found it incredibly awesome. So far, so good. But only time will tell!

The older you get the less time for games it seems...
I understand that. I'm trying to play through Final Fantasy VI again and it's taking ages because, as an adult, I've got so much other crap to do.

I think it would be fairer to say the current practice of science; there's nothing inherently 'solid' in science, so it's always 'evolving'.
Agreed. You worded it better. Thanks.

I actually don't have any complaints with any of the Final Fantasy games. They all were unique in their own way, and I liked them all. I just happened to like some more than others.
