Also:

Does anyone remember the name of the guy hanging around here who used to be working on an RPG about Norstein Bekkler in RPG Maker? I've forgotten his name, which is really a problem as a while back he helped me create a Michael Jackson inspired song for CTU (which is still set to be used in Episode 25, wherein Episode 24 is all about setting the stage for that "thrilling" scene to finally occur). I heavily apologize to him for the fact that I've forgotten his name, but a lot of stuff has been lost since then (but not the song file itself, which I thankfully still have)

Also, if he's still around, I have a very specific question for him as well.

I believe that's me. Yeah, real life has been kicking my butt lately. There's more to it but this isn't the place to discuss real life. If you need to know who to credit for the song, my bandmate Bryan and I wrote it but since it's not a full band thing and was more of a one-fun-afternoon thing we decided not to go by our band's name and to collectively call ourselves Hi-Five Panda. Need something else, please PM me or email me. I'm not on here like I used to be. No time (ironic).

^That ugly thing still exists? Ugh. I will never understand the desire some have to fill this site with copy after copy of that old pixellated image that was never funny to begin with and has nothing to do with the site or the topic. I seriously hate that thing and lose a little more respect for whoever posts it every time I see it.  </rant>

Thanks for the help, Ramses. I see the display:none now that I'm on a pc and can properly investigate. Very nice. Btw if you're considering offering themes for users to choose from, I might be interested in creating one. It would be all css, right?

Hmm, is there now (or will there be) an equivalent of the "Unread Posts" link or is that gone for good? That was the most helpful navigation tool on the old layout for me, and the one thing I miss the most so far.

It is very nice to have a responsive layout, makes reading on the phone much better.

Why nervous? This place is hardly the hustle and bustle of activity it once was.

News Submissions / Crimson Echoes on Cracked.Com
« on: October 07, 2013, 12:02:46 pm »
Hey all you fellow timekeepers! So it looks like Crimson Echoes has found some more life after death, this time in the form of a "journalistic" article on our favorite humor site, Cracked.Com! Coming in at list item number 4 (not a contest so everybody wins), there's a nice shout out about the game, a blurb about Squeenix's lame decision to CnD it, and a grain-of-salt jab at Chrono Cross. Check it out here*.

*Sorry to those looking to download the mod, there are no links leading to a download in the article.

Probably not, in the same way that a cake once baked will never return to batter, I think you'd be dealing with some matter-destroying forces here.

Chrono News / Re: Chrono Trigger Symphony

This is a bit random because I honestly joined this forum to talk Chrono Trigger, but I figured I'd mention that volume 2 of this album will be out in a couple of weeks! Blake has almost finished it :)

Oh and chi_z, it's actually Joypad Records that sort out his licencing! He just sells the albums through loudr.

Awesome news! And hey, welcome to the forum!  8)

I don't understand why you use fanfiction.net and then link to it. Why not just post the fanfic instead of the link? Especially one that's only a few sentences...

The thing that's really grinding my gears about Whovians right now is how upset they are that Peter Capaldi was in Fires of Pompeii, saying it doesn't make sense, it'll break the storyline, etc.  I guess they've totally failed to realize that Karen Gillan was in the same damn episode?

Well, good thing the character can change his face! Maybe the Doctor just really liked that Pompeiian guy's face and subconsciously "chose" it as his own. Considering what franchise we're talking about, there's an explanation for almost anything. I think it only could have damaged the story if he played a Doctor first, and a side character after. Like if Eccleston just showed up a new episode as a fruit salesman or something and nobody acknowledged in the show that it was weird, I'd say they jumped the shark.

Besides, Freema Agyeman played both Martha AND her identical cousin in one episode. That's FAR more ridiculous. Identical cousins. I think you'd need two sets of twins and completely impossible odds to pull off anything remotely resembling the possibility of identical cousins.

The Pompeii episode is one of my all-time favorites, and incidentally, the only thing I've ever seen Capaldi in. I hope he's good.

Is that not a satire website? Like The Onion? As in, fake news...?
Whoop! My apologies. Totally didn't notice that. I became too engrossed in the reactions of fans in the comments below. XD

Teehee, it's all good. I was duped at first too!
