Do not try to understand it, just feel something about it if you can. If you can't, cry yourself out and start a threat about it.

I think that link would show anyone why some people believe that religion closes people's eyes. I can only say that religion hasn't evolved with culture, in some cases, it has stayed the same for at least 500 years, keeping some medieval thoughts (which are most the same since the beginning of the religious movements), if not all of them. Everyone can seek a way for illumination if they feel like they want/need it, and it should be according to that person's interests and ways of life, keeping in mind the society's rules, or at least respecting the borders of your own freedom, and others freedom.

I'm sorry, but where's the next appearance of the masamune after the fall of guardia? I quite do not remember well.

Just a question, ZeaLitY, why are you reviving some topics?

Just a thought. I think that a Dragoon wouldn't be the one that used the masamune in the fall of guardia, unless he/she died before Radius killed Garai with the sword, he/she had to put the sword in the Divine Dragon Falls after all, unless the own sword transported there by its own means (to avoid more corruption or more blood taking).
Maybe the Dragoons in a attempt to avoid Porre invade El Nido, made an arrangement, in which the Dragoons would help Porre, and Porre would stay away from El Nido. Vipers speech may be a way to encourage the Dragoons to fight for a cause that might not be completely of their interest, but may get the army to a better position (unless that the speech is completely different than the one my memory tells me, it would be great if someone could quote it).
I stick to the point that the guy that used the masamune is someone from a different time or dimension, taking into consideration Luccas words in the letter.
My deep excuses if I'm saying stupid things, or if I'm getting out of the point.

Just one question. Chrono Triggers ending, Lucca says she'll dismantle the epoch, and by this mean, no more Epoch. Do you guys think that Lucca, being the scientist she is, a girl that tried to make a time egg by herself, wouldn't make any documentation of specific steps or manuals to build the epoch again, even for any causality made in the future?
I think she would say "Oh my god, i have an epoch to destroy, i will look what it has, how it works and all that stuff, I'm a scientist, after all". Stupid question and all, but i had to think about it that way.

About the time egg Lucca gave to Kid, maybe she knew, as she said to Kid in her letter handed down by Luccia in some part of the game, that she could die in some point, so she gave Kid "one" incomplete Time Egg, as a backup plan, or a mission. I think that the Time Egg can be made several times unless it is made of a rare material (maybe dreamstone or lavos body, maybe the frozen flame). Maybe Lucca kept another Time Egg (maybe several ones, uncompleted), or several devices that could react with the already made Time Egg, or with the Frozen Flame, allowing to make a time phenomena in which a plan could be unveiled.

(Sorry for the multiple things I could have said and that do not concordate with the previous theories stated as truth in the Compendium, and I'm sorry for the stupid theory as well)

"Be wary of strong drink, it can make you shoot to tax collectors, and miss"

I guess thats my point about church and taxes, priests would be "sinners" if they were to pay taxes, the wine and all that stuff, you know. (if any wrong words about the quote, I'm deeply sorry guys and girls)

I liked Madain Sari, the Eidolon Wall i guess. But I could live forever in Chocobo's Paradise (or whatever the name is, where fat chocobo resides).
