Those have been available on various sites for a while now, but SO NOT FAIR - the one with Marle and Crono is most certainly not being sold anywhere. That sucks so much, because that's one of my favorite scenes that Akira Toriyama did poster art of.

@ alfadorredux = Thanks... that's pretty cool.

Sadly, my party turned out to be rather suck. Only 5 people showed up out of the 30 or so that said they'd definitely come (I invited quite a bit more than that, mind you, and most of those folks all had good reasons for not coming). What a bummer...

@ Lord J = LOL... And bummer you're not here.  :(

@ Manly Man = I've been to Vegas once. Too hot and dry there, and it's kind of creepy how it's surrounded by the desert the way it is (certainly wild to see when looking out the window from an airplane approaching the airport). Seattle is the shiz; may be wet often, but gosh does it have mild winters and pleasant summers. Come back and visit when you can afford it - like for PAX!

@ TheMage = *blushes* Thanks, that cheered me up to hear.

@ Kodokami = I heartily agree! A Nu with a party hat would be awesome!

And much thanks to everyone else who's wished me a happy b-day...  :kamina

Today I turn 32. May not seem that old to some, but to me it feels like I'm some kind of an old lady. Especially when I remember how much my body hates me (always have pain in my feet, legs, and back), and of how many friends of mine are way younger than me (the majority of my buds are under ther age of 24). So glad that they don't give a reptite's ass about what age I am, though.

Having a fun party (with cosplay, too) on Saturday at the convention center (for those of you who live in Washington state, it's where they have SakuraCon and PAX each year; and if any of you guys want to come, go ahead! It'll be on the 2nd floor in the area next to the escalators and looking out over 7th avenue). And if any good photos get taken, I'll be sure to share them with you guys. <3

Chrono News / Re: Fan Game: The Rise of Magus Version 1.5

Didn't get to play the first one, and I'm kind of glad I waited. Once I have the time to download it and stuff, I am definitely trying this out... <3

I'd suggest keeping them together as a set. Much more valuable to a fan.

(also would suggest maybe selling them to us? If a decent price, I'd buy them)

Oh ho ho! Wow... didn't realize you guys were tracking her stuff down.

Can't look at it right now (using my mom's comp), but when I have time and am on our main computer, I'll look at the collection of CuteLuccca stuff that I got back when she first started up her site.

General Discussion / Re: Stargate Universe and Caprica cancelled
« on: January 14, 2011, 01:18:37 am »
Am I the only one who thought SGU was a bit boring and weird? I mean, original and unique, yes, but chunks of it were a bit on the lame side for me and I got bored of watching. So hearing it's canceled does not surprise me at all.

But in all truth, the Sci-Fi channel officially died the day they renamed themselves. Like many other channels (Cartoon Network esp. pisses me off over this), they are becoming afraid of losing viewers and trying to have crappy shows that they stupidly think are "what's popular" and people will actually care for (when in reality, only a tiny fraction does). Even if those shows have nothing to do with the core purpose of their channel (like CN showing live-action crap, etc.).

Thus the reason I don't have cable TV anymore. It's dead to me.

@ Sajainta: He's a purple cat plushie from GUND that my best bud got off eBaY. Boy did we get a surprise when it arrived, because it meows 3 times when you squeeze it's tummy! (eerily similar to how Alfador sounds in the game, might I add). And then I used a dark purple fabric pen to make him have similar markings to how he looks in the anime cutscenes.

@ utunnels: It's not real silk, anyhoo, And the idea was to give it a regal touch since Janus is a prince after all (I'm quite pleased to have found the fabric in the most authentic-looking color ever; though I must say, it is thanks to having my DS with Chrono Trigger in it for using for reference that helped most).

Took me a month to get around to this, but oh well... been busy and other lame stuff.

I have yet to get the really good photos of this that a friend took, but until then, I found another one to appease you all until I get a hold of those (which hopefully will be in the next week or so). Sorry if it looks odd, but it was so dark that I tried to lighten it somewhat. *sigh*

The day Prince Janus & Alfador met the legendary Robert Axelrod

(and yes, I know the collar doesn't look that accurate; but my best bud who helped with the costume couldn't figure out how to get it like the real thing without totally ruining it and we had to settle for something akin to Schala's collar; and yes, one dork at AkiCon did think I was Schala when he came to complement the costume and my cat... argh...)

Such a crazy name for it, but that also makes it unique. I love that.

Definitely will look into this once I have the time... heh heh. Looks like I won't be spending most of my internet time at Trickster Online as much anymore... XD

WOOHOO!!!!!!!

As of yesturday, I got most of my Janus costume DONE. All that's left to do is wait for the wig and elf shoes that were ordered to arrive, then my bud will style the wig and paint the shoes. It is truly wonderful how it looks for something so simple as a poncho, and despite being rather long (compared to the art of Janus), it still works out well since it's like a robe and poncho combined. Also, I got the fabric color damn awesomely accurate, and for that I have much joy and pride. Sure hope the wig and shoes turn out as just as great.

@ Temporal Knight = Awesome. Btw, one of my con buddies already has...

@ Ramsus = Not necessarily be ripped, but at least look decent. I keep coming accross Magus cosplayers that're either too short and/or too pudgy, and of course having the wrong colors for the costume and wig. I look forward to what my friend (the guy planning the Chrono Cross group) is going to do, because he's thought of maybe doing the Prophet version of Magus once he heard about me doing Janus.

It'd rock to see more Lucca cosplayers. She's my #1 favorite girl in the game, and probably the coolest "smart cookie" type ever to be in an RPG (a.k.a. female nerd/geek/genius).

I also wish there could be more NPC cosplays. Everyone knows the mains, but lots of other characters could sure use some lovin' - such as a Poyozo, Crono's mom, Kino, Tata, Taban, the Gurus, and the villains (Flea being my personal fave). And jeez loueez... it sure would rock for someone to finally do a Magus costume and get it right (believe me, if you saw the horrible one this guy did at SakuraCon for a skit 2 years ago, you'd probably want to beat him with a big stick for being a moron at cosplay).
