General Discussion / Finally! I am done...
« on: March 05, 2008, 01:29:32 am »
Finally, I'm done with my song I've been working on. Although I had it recorded a while ago, it just wasn't as good as I want it, it still isn't but it's close to getting there, but I still worked hard on it, trying to get better quality out of my crappy mics, and little recording space. And as usually, I can't really think up song names. So this one is just called Everyday.

Here it is if you want to check it out.

General Discussion / no soul
« on: February 29, 2008, 08:04:30 pm »
I have a question, is it possible to make music without putting soul, love and/or anger put into it?

Because almost every musician makes music to their liking, and what they feel, or want people to feel, and no matter how crappy it sounds, it's still putting soul into it.

I know from experience it's very hard to sing and play a song that you have no liking of, therefore you don't put any effort or soul into it, and it's very hard to make it sound good. But I'm not sure about making the music without putting any effort into it, because I always put my soul into my songs.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Odd thing...
« on: November 26, 2007, 02:30:12 am »
I found an odd thing when I was searching in google "Chrono Trigger beta"

http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/404/40424.html

Apparently this is supposed to be a Chrono Trigger  port for a TI-83 Plus...which is a calculator....very odd.

Now I'm not sure if this same thing is floating around this site somewhere, but I thought I'd post it anyways.

EDIT: Speaking of odd Chrono Trigger things....

I wish Lavos looked like that...hehe

General Discussion / My music (updated)
« on: November 19, 2007, 02:11:19 am »
Well, I've been recording some music in the past months, but I've been using a crappy site to up them on. I've finally found a site that will let you put music on, share it, and stream it, so you don't have to download it.

Here's five of my songs of the many that I have recorded:

http://www.divshare.com/download/2613174-96e

I have a demo for my new song, which hopefully will have lyrics. And I'm also working on another song which already has the first and second verse.

But I still haven't made a new singing track for The Seasons, which now I hear that the main part is slightly off tune. And I recorded it with a mic as think as my finger.

General Discussion / Love Hina
« on: November 03, 2007, 01:45:37 am »
Anybody a Love Hina fan? Or at least watched it? It's pretty good, but it's too bad I got done with it to quick. I watched about 5 episodes per day of it. But I haven't watched the specials yet, I'm waiting until it's christmas for the christmas special, and spring for the spring special.

I also haven't watched Love Hina Again...but it's only three episodes.

General Discussion / Led Zeppelin REUNITE
« on: October 14, 2007, 02:01:40 am »
(This is the same post, I posted on the Crisis forums)

This is not new news to me, or to some other people, but it may be for some.

Led Zeppelin will be Live in concert at the 02 Arena in London, England, November 11th, 2007. And John Bonham's son, Jason Bonham, will be filling in for John's spot.

But sadly, it is a one time deal, they aren't going on a big tour, they're just doing it for this event. Me being a huge Zeppelin fan, and wasn't alive around the time Zeppelin concerts were going on, it's big for me, but there's no way I can go to London, and even get tickets for the concert, they're most likely very expensive.

General Discussion / Some of my "works"
« on: September 08, 2007, 03:39:30 am »
I know most of you aren't very interested, but if so, why did you come to this thread?
Anyways, here's some of my works. BUT MAY I please get some comments on these. I neeed to know.

My version of the intro in Radical Dreamers (most of it), the game, just an audio one with the music it has, I posted it on the Crisis page a few days...(or day?) back. And I also had a runny nose when I recorded this. (er, still do, because it was just this week I recorded it)

Up next is a song I recorded a while back...probably around when I was in 8th grade, back when I was still learning guitar, so about two years ago, all music, no vocals. It's called Warm Summer Day.

Last but not least, is a song I recorded this year, which is the first song I've recorded with me singing on it, and that I was sort of satisfied with my singing, but not so much for the guitar part. I have 3 versions of this song, the 1st was a crude version with a lot of static, the 2nd backup vocals was added, extra guitar parts, static cleaned up, 3rd another guitar part, and other stuff. Oh and the song's called The Seasons.

I hope I can get at least one positive comment! LQTM (laugh quietly to myself) XD

OH I almost forgot about this one little bit I made...

...yes that is my voiced, I recorded it, put echo, and reversed it.

General Discussion / I hate Steam!!!
« on: August 02, 2007, 02:38:41 pm »
God damn Steam is starting to really piss me off, and their technical support is crap to. I tried to get my password recovery many times, but they never send me it, I ask for help on their website, but they do nothing about it. Which is really starting to get on my nerves, because I have about $100 worth of games on there. Freaking Valve needs to change their password recovery system.

NEVERMIND! I just checked my e-mail, and it appears that they sent me a new password a few weeks ago, but knowing my old e-mail, I get about 100 messages a day.

General Discussion / Why I love my PSP
« on: July 05, 2007, 04:13:18 pm »
I downgraded it, and now it's on OE firmware. And I can FINALLY use Homebrew stuff, after waiting forever.

Yep, there's my main screen, I can change the icons and things without having to screw around with the flash0, so I don't brick my PSP...I've semi-bricked it about 5 times this week, and I upgraded to OE 3 days ago...Well thank god for recovery...Some of you are probably wondering what the hell I'm talking about...

I also love it because it plays Chrono Cross, and Chrono Trigger better then my computer does!

Other Topics and the Prerelease / Other Crap
« on: February 13, 2007, 07:25:42 pm »
And posting them everywhere, and especially in other peoples' topics isn't th' way ta get attention, dan_death!  At least not th' attention you're aimin' for.  It's considered "off-topic posting" and on most forums(with the exception of certain threads, of course), is against the rules.  I'm not sure about here, though.  My memory is bad.  I should check.  XD
you know what?
i cannot understand a word your saying....plus this is only my second time posting it...i think

I don't see anything different with the End of Time. Kajar has been covered, but with Vehek's comment stuff, I'll add the notes about Zenan Bridge.
and what are you talking about?

General Discussion / Back in Business
« on: January 16, 2007, 02:02:47 am »
well, for some time i was getting bored of the chrono series.....until now, i have played CT and beaten it again, which i never get tired of playing it....that was my 20th time i've beat'n it. so now i'm back in business. and i have a list of things to do:

  • learn how to make better artwork on a computer
  • learn how to make spirites
  • learn how to use TF
  • beat CC a second time
  • make a CT style of CC and RD
  • and then the last and final, make a website for the CT style of CC and RD
which i probably won't get started on any of these until the last month of school.
