Chrono Compendium Discussion / Re: Database Error
« on: June 23, 2024, 06:57:12 pm »
o, why are the last 3 comments posted by accounts where all of them have one post? I mean, I get that they may be new, but all of them in one thread, that's funny as hell

The leftover animated background tiles definitely suggest there was more planned for the overworld environments. Do you think these tiles might have been scrapped due to technical limitations, or maybe they just didn't fit the final artistic direction?

General Discussion / Re: What Are You Currently Playing? (Do NOT Just Make a List)

Okay guys, hear me out. I was just chilling with my friends on Discord and we were talking about some stuff, when out of nowhere, one of us says, 'Yo guys, do you remember Dead by Daylight?' and we were like, 'Hell yeah!' So, we started playing like in the good old days of Covid, and I've got to tell you, it was a rush of nostalgia. It's not that the game is so good, but when you play it with friends, it's so much more fun. So yeah, I'm playing Dead by Daylight now.

I'm playing 7 Days To Die. Can't wait for the 1.0 update to drop. People have been waiting years (10, to be specific) for this to come out.
I'm playing it with my friends, and we have a private server from https://7d2d.net/ to play without lagging. We'll continue renting it after the update comes out. It costs $10, so not much, but totally worth it.

General Discussion / Re: Boo's Thread of Multiple Existential Crisises
« on: May 31, 2024, 05:13:10 pm »Welcome to the Compendium, pseudonymous_traveller! I don't think we got to meet yet.
Yeah, sorry of funny how my late night musings sort of predated and explosion of similar feelings in the covid and post-covid eras.
Admittedly, those feelings of disenfranchisement and frustration usually remain. A lack of real, honest connection persists, but I often catch myself realizing that I actually have a lot of these connections that I think I lack... sometimes I just take them for granted.
We moved in early 2020 due to my job (right before covid) and now live in a rural town, and we're more plugged in now than we've ever been. Some of that is just by meeting people through events in our small town, some of it is also because of kids and their school. Either way, it absolutely is a reflection of the tribalism you speak of.
I do get a little frustrated with it from time to time (being social can be exhausting), and sometimes I feel frustrated because when you put yourself out there sometimes it doesn't go like you want. Feelings can be messy, hahaha... but I do believe strongly that humans are social creatures and we've evolved with a need for socialization.QuoteA people divided is a people subservient.
Preach. When we're at each other's throats, the unseen enemy sneaks in and just pulls the noose. It's so frustrating and even being cognizant of it sometimes has to be a cognizant effort.
Over a year and 4 months since the last crisis, is this good? I hope they left your life and this is not just you forgeting to post them..

I will continue to remove posts in my own history so that every post is my 100th from now on. Infinite celebration!
I have no bussines replying to you, but you haven't posted in 3 months, you can set a goal to reach 1 000 posts, now that will be cool from you, ey?

« on: October 03, 2021, 07:38:47 pm »
I saw that no one made a Chrono Trigger edit like this so i tried to make it the best way possible, there are some memes in the first part and i tried to make sense with how the story goes, i don't know if anyone will like it but hey... I tried at least.
