It took a while to realize that the best way was a 215% resize and fill out the rest with the black boarder.

Wow, got some videos loaded up, and it turns out I can fit about 19 to 20 clips on 1 video with a decent bitrate.  That puts it at 5 single layer DVDs, would the community still be interested in me releasing the files?

I'm 92.79831% sure there are audio cues, but they are much lower than the rest of the game.  Crank up the volume and see if that helps.

I've started transcoding the CE play through so I can get some DVDs set up.  It is looking like 3 or 4 DVDs is going to be what it takes.  Once done I'll distribute the VIDEO_TS folders in a torrent for burning or watching.

I tried to resize with as little blockynes as possible.

If anybody would like to donate some ideas for menu design I'd gladly accept.  They would need to be 720x480.

I will put some some screen shots of the resized video shortly

This guy built a USB adapter adapter for the SNES carts, you can't buy one yet, or find out how to build one yet, but here soon.

Chrono Trigger Drinks

Some bar in Denmark made up some pretty awesome looking Chrono Trigger inspired drinks.  Check them out, if you are over the age of 21

It asks if you want to put in the password, you then press A.  Then you enter L-A-R-A.  You have to press A first, it is kind of confusing.

I think it might be the audio as well, if I strip the audio the video works just fine.  gonna try and doctor the audio some.

When I goto import them, as soon as they go to generate the thumbnail images, both programs crash.  I will try the Emerald Dream videos.

Knowing that they are the original rips, I will transcode them, and see if that fixes the issue.  the Emerald Dream videos work just fine.  Is there something special about them>

I greatly appreciate the youtube videos in the torrent, but is it possible to get either the raw ZSNES movie files, or the raw avi's that where uploaded to youtube.  I'm having trouble getting the files to work in either Encore or Premiere.  I think it might be to do with the codecs and I'd hate to further transcode them.

No, you see, you're paying them extra via their membership. It doesn't matter if it's not DLC, you can't get the achievements without paying them to play the game.

Even if there is no exemption for MMOs, paying the monthly fee is part of the cost to play the game. There is no game you can get achievements for without paying to play it. Most of them you just pay up front.

QFT.  That is a great way to look at it.  I didn't even think of it like that.

Isn't that the point of 90% of MMO's?  Microsoft still has to OK all 360 games.  So it is really a moot point.

The expansions don't count as DLC. No DLC to see here.
The total possible gamerpoints  from FFXI is 1250.  The original 1000 can be earned with the 1st game released for the 360 which included all expansions to date.
The additional 250 is from Wings of the Goddess. Achievements.

New policy states you can add 250 with an expansion or dlc Here
That was back in '07.

I'm 100% sure you can have a Silver Live account and still play FFXI.

I'd love to see all the raw footage available as a torrent to download.  I'm sure that Underground-Gamer would host it.  I can provide an invite, or upload them if provided with the files.  Just saying.  Get some of the Compendium's fanart, and make some custom menus and provide either ISO for DVDs or the VIDEO TS folders.

So a SNES cart, PS1 disk, and a DS Cart, all of which contain the same thing, baring the cutsecens, and they want us to keep buying the same recycled game.  Then there is Chrono Cross, only a PS1 release, and that can't even be played unless you still own a PS1 or a PS2.  They are missing an entire generation by only porting 1 of the 2 Chrono games to the DS.  Hell, Chrono Trigger Resurrection could have provided them with pre-made 3D models, and Crimson Echoes could have provided them with an entirely new game, all with next to no work for SE.  Either give up rights to Chrono and let it's fans keep it alive, or make some NEW content FFS.

Hell, I'm still waiting for the cold day in hell when there is a legit Terranigma release in America. (Enix title)
