Other Topics and the Prerelease / "Corridors of Time" study score

I transcribed "Corridors of Time" for anyone who's interested. I believe it's in F# minor, and nearly heptatonic (there are a few raised submediants); 4/4 time with motoric eighths from the bonang, a gamelan instrument. I like the melody, both the sitar and the chorus after it. I left out the percussion, which is one bar of music repeated throughout. Lillypond code below.

Here's my transcription of "Memories of Green" for anyone interested. I suspect that "Chrono Trigger" was written first (judging by the tremendous energy in the music), which would make "Memories of Green" an arrangement of "Chrono Trigger." It is a half-step (semitone) lower than "Chrono Trigger." Here's the Lilypond code:

Thanks for your help! I think you're right about the piano. With the lower tones, I can hear some higher frequencies, maybe partials, that I can't hear with the highest tones.

Hello everyone. Does anyone know what instruments are used on "Memories of Green" from Chrono Trigger? I read the melody instrument is a piccolo, and strings also take the melody. What about the accompaniment? My guess is gongs of some kind for the lower part (bonang from Java?), and piano for the upper. The lower part doesn't have a lot of bell overtones. I thought the lower part could also be some kind of resonant xylophone I've never seen.

I transcribed Longing of the Wind from Chrono Trigger, and coded it with LilyPond. I'm pleased with how it turned out, however, I'd like feedback on it, if you all have the time. I noticed that there are no scores hosted on this website, and I think scores could be useful to musicians who are fooling around with the music. Anyone can do this, however, it does take time!

My sense of Mitsuda's work is that he prefers real instruments, rather than electronic ones. Of course, he uses electronic instruments, but he bases them on real ones. So I'm mostly comfortable calling the upper voices a piano. I did consider pizzicato violin & viola, but that sound decays rapidly, whereas I'm hearing a struck string sound. (The Triforce Quartet recorded the tune on Ultima Phantasia, for comparison).

Hello, forum members. In the first sixteen bars of Longing of the Wind from Chrono Trigger (1995), what are the instruments used? I'm certain of a double bass in the bass line, but what of the strange upper voices? Is it a sampled instrument? There's a percussive component at the attack.
