Aha, so that's where that screenshot of the trailer on Gameboy Advanced came from...
It would seem so. I just edited my post cos I just realized what the .gbs file was :P

The RAR file you wanted identified contains the Chrono Trigger Resurrection trailer (the one that we've all seen already, so don't worry) in the outdated GBA movie player/M3 adapter video format (for use on GBA/NDS). The .gbm file is the video portion and the .gbs file is the audio portion. Played fine on my GBA movie player CF. Hope this helps :P

Or they could redo the artwork and rightfully put Toriyama out to pasture.  ;)

---T.Geiger
-_- Toriyama is part of what made CT great - I wouldn't want a CT with a different art style ;)

To be honest, I don't think he'd have any issue with the use of his artwork - he still has close ties with Squenix thanks to DQ, and furthermore the relationship between Squenix and Nintendo hasn't been this good since the SNES days.

Well it's been a long time, and still they haven't been catalogued, maybe bumping up this post might cause some interest :)

Anyway, what I really wanted to say, is that now that ZSNES has proper movie/audio dumping functions, we can dump wave files using the ZSNES APU engine which is superior to SNESAMP - very useful for some fan projects I would think.

Chrono Trigger Modification / Debugging help needed
« on: February 01, 2007, 04:25:36 am »
Basically I'm looking for the disassembly data for that glowing rectangle that appears around characters when you're choosing commands. What I want to figure out is the calculation for how fast it pulses. I know next-to-nothing about disassembly, but I know this should be possible to discover - if not by someone else, could I get some instructions/guidelines to figure it out for myself?

Chrono Cross Modification / Re: Cross emulation problems

http://psxemulator.gazaxian.com/

If all that fails, or you wish to try something new, use the pSX emulator. It runs Cross perfectly for me, with no plugins to mess around with. epsxe is nice for enhanced graphics, but for compatibility and ease of use, I really really recommend pSX.
Another vote for psX - by far the best emulator now for accurate emulation.

I voted for sonic :D

As much as I love Crono, Sonic is what I grew up with - but it was a tough choice nonetheless.

All but one are very techno-y - reminds me of some of the megaman games for some reason - but very nice as well :)

Being able to dump tiles to PNG (as they are shown in the editor - not simply uncompressing the graphic data from the rom, that can be done already ;)), and possibly the ability to remove/hide duplicate tiles (there are a lot in some tilesets) in said tileset window.
