« on: November 27, 2010, 12:58:50 am »I hope it's NOT a direct port, but an enhanced remake, with all the plot issues (pacing and unanswered thematic questions) fixed. The game seemed liked it was rushed halfway through in terms of plot, because of a deadline, and was a failure in terms of what the writer, Kato, was really trying to do. If it were remade for 3DS, the second half of the game would have to be fleshed out and and better paced in order to acheive that. Though the whole game would have to be rendered entirely in 3D for it to look right on the 3DS screen. Wouldn't that eat up space? A 3DS card holds 2 GB at launch, and I think 2 CDs hold around 1.5 GB.
They could make it a two card game. disk one on card one, disk two on card two. that would free up space

Why you would use anything else is beyond me. The game is hardly difficult to begin with, but I'm baffled as to why people are taking Marle or Magus so often here

F-546 I downloaded and played the game. There were a few glitches and errors here and there and it even closed by itself once but i got through it and i think it was great. When there is a final version TELL ME!!!!!!

I always use crono Glenn and magus all with haste helms and moonbeam armor around lvl 60 each
crono is an all-around death machine glenn is just my favorite and has some decent healing and magus is a great magic user
when fighting lavos 1 frenzy destroys the left bit and after that i just go beast on the right bit. around 3 or 4 rounds lavos is no more.

yeah crono did get a couple of lines in one of the chrono trigger endings

another thing we got to consider is if serge is gonna be silent in this game or not. if so we gotta shape his personality because we dont know what serge is like. we dont know if he is cocky, cowardly, brave, bold or whatever

Like I said in my first post I'm only a novice with rpg maker 2003 but i might be able to contribute to the storyline. if we get an actual team behind this it might happen. I'm gonna go pull out chrono cross right now for some inspiration and themage that world map looks great!
