Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Your Favorite Chrono Moment

My favorite scene is probably the scene where Crono, Marle, and Lucca encourage the people of 2300 A.D. to not give up on hope.

That's sad to hear. How would you consider your grandfather? Because it sounds like nobody in your family seems to give a damn about his life and are far more concerned for what pieces of paper can buy them.
I like my Grandfather but I really haven't been close to him in awhile.

I know that my Mom doesn't really like him. She feels that he was a bad father to her. My Aunt seems to care about him more but she hasn't visted him since he got transferred to another hospital. My mother's the one who's paying all of his medical bills right now. My cousins have already gone through his house looking for money.

Tata venturing through Magus's castle, and running into Crono, Marle, and Lucca laughing maniacally, appearing to be bad for some reason?
Yeah I still don't understand that ending.

One thing that I wonder about is is the Chrono universe surpost to be like our world? At the end of Chrono Cross we see Kid in what looks to be Tokyo. So I wonder if countries like the US and Japan exist in the Chrono series cause if they do then the Chrono universe might have had a WW1 and WW2 as well in between 1000 AD and 1999 AD.

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Re: Theory on Day of Destruction
« on: August 14, 2012, 10:03:45 pm »
I always just thought that 1999 just so happen to be the time period for Lavos hibernation to end.

What's interesting about Lavos attack on the world in 1999 A.D. is the fact that it's the first time that Lavos attacks without being provoked.

Every other time in the game Lavos had to be provoked. In both 12000 B.C. and 600 A.D. Lavos only appeared after someone did something to wake it up.

As far as Chrono Trigger's story goes I don't see Lavos as good or evil. Lavos is just going through it's life cycle. Which will cause the end of the world.

We the players who play the game see Lavos as evil because of the final outcome which is that Lavos will destroy the world if it's not destroyed.

I think the most interesting thing about Lavos is it's relationship with Queen Zeal in the Keystone timeline. Lavos clearly didn't like that Zeal woke it up in 12000 B.C. yet it lets her live on the Black Omen without taking hostile action against her.

I hate half my family right now.

My Grandfather's in the hospital with stage four cancer. He only probably has a few weeks left and already my families fighting over things like inheritance money and who's going to get his house.

That's pretty kick ass.

Good work.

I still want to rape Lynx until he throws up blood and stab him in every vital place.   )
Remind me never to get on your badside.

One more thing, Fall of Guardia. Having Guardia fall is in interesting idea but it's handed poorly. It seems like Masato Kato really wanted Crono, Marle, and Lucca out of the way. The way that their fates are left hanging is kind of a middle finger to the fans.

Schala prominently, since she was a major loose end in CT. I'm not sure where I'd go with that yet, but there are many possibilities.
Am I the only person who never saw Schala as a loose end when Chrono Trigger first came out? I always just assumed that she died during the Ocean Palace Incident. She used a lot of energy to power the Mammoth Machine and teleport Crono's friends out of the Ocean Palace. So it really wouldn't have been hard to believe that she pushed herself too much and died.

Saw it with my Dad, and also because I'm a big Joss Whedon fan. It's a good fun action movie. Nothing more nothing less. I'd give it a 8/10.

Sadly their's alot of stupid in this world. :(

Chrono Break will only be made when Square Enix runs out of other games that they can milk for all their worth.

So my answer is NO!

A thought crossed my mind. If the heroes defeated Lavos at the Ocean Palace, and Queen Zeal turned back to the way she was before this, what would happen to her?
I doubt that she would be welcome with open arms by the earthbound people, or the enlighten people. They would most certainly not let her live with them.
The earthbound would hate her for the way she treated them, and the enlighten would blame her for the destruction of Zeal, and the loss of there magic.

They might even try to kill her/and or put her on some sort of trial.

But... wait, I thought the whole point of CC was to tie up the loose ends left behind from CT (IE Schala and... actually, that's pretty much it).
Was Schala that much of a loose end that needed to be resolved?
I'm sure that there were some fans who just assumed that she died at the Ocean Palace.

What bugs me is how we still don't know the fates of Crono and Marle.
And if we never get another Chrono game then there fates will always be a cliffhanger.
