It's because they think if you have good chrono games to play then you won't want to play final fantasy games. That's why they let FF hacks fly free and clear but everything big for chrono gets shut down. They should really just rename their company Final Enix or Square Fantasy.

imo they sued you guys because you said right at the beginning of the game (or in the read me my memory isn't 100%) that this game was made without the express permission of square enix, and if at any time they have a problem with this then we will cease all work on the project. So, they said... Cease. It's not hard to do when you lay it out for them really :/

No developer would C&D a project made by their fans. It was just the work of lawyers and NoA who had nothing to do with the game's creation.

As far as I know Lance, they haven't. I'm not a part or big follower of the FF community but there are TONS of their games up on romhacking.net

Yeah, I did a test run and when the characters were using weapons they couldn't actually hurt lavos. When I took them off though I was about to hit in the 400s typically, since Glenn and Crono had around 650 attack power. For some reason Robo was able to hurt her though even with his Terra Arm on, I found that out midway through the fight by accident.
Also note that Magus appears before the fight, but he was not present. He also appeared after the battle finished as well but I didn't upload that part of the video.

Alright I just killed her, nothing happened though just her sprite disappeared from the screen. Took me like 20 minutes to kill her though so I cut a lot of the movie out, basically just the beginning method and a few minutes before she dies. She kept using cure2 but it didn't stop robo's fists of fury. I couldn't get fraps to recognize my sound card so, just pretend you're hearing the lavos theme.

After I used shock I was able to hurt schala with flare as well. Didn't try normal attacking her since I was battling for my life, but I thought about loading up another save and fighting her with Crono Glenn Robo Marle. How much HP did you give her?

Yeah I don't know what shock is it seems pretty magical though. The first time I did that battle I didn't even HIT the boss, because he used meteor over and over and over until I died. 2nd time I used shock and it like, calmed him down. lol
