General Discussion / I'm still here...
« on: June 13, 2004, 05:03:05 pm »
I faded off somewhere...

When the site went down for awhile, I had thought that it was shut down for good for some reason. I left it on my favorites and continued on, going to different forums and doing what I do. One day I decided to try the link again and found that the site was back up! So now I'm back, and I plan on hanging around, posting, and generally causing trouble until this site goes to internet hell.

So then, what has been going on since I left? Besides the crash and the revamp that is...

General Discussion / Do you draw?
« on: January 03, 2004, 05:53:34 am »
i sketch/draw/copy things constantly. i can make a perfect duplicate of any picture i look at, although it could take a few hours. and i'm horrible at sketching and drawing. i just can't put a picture that i'm thinking of down on paper.

i'll hook up my scanner tommorow and post a few of my drawings for everyone.

EDIT 2: seems my image host is screwed up, but i haven't figured out the problem yet... if you want to see the pictures i uploaded you can go here

General Discussion / a 3D pic of lavos
« on: January 03, 2004, 05:38:34 am »
very cool, the legs give him a completley different look, but it is a good look.

it would be very good if, for instance, there was an action/rpg remake of chrono trigger.

i wanna know where they learned how to make those kinds of spectacular models

General Discussion / Favorite Place in an RPG
« on: January 03, 2004, 05:28:58 am »
it's been a very long time so i can't recall names. but that town to the west of the school in the very beggining in ff8 is one of my favorite places in an rpg.

the beautiful music captivates me and sets the mood for such a peaceful little oceanside town. I can imagine walking up and down the cobblestone streets and brething in the fresh sea air.

outset island, from the newest installment in the zelda series, is another one of my favorite places in an rpg. mostly for the same reasons as the town stated above. I just love that type of peaceful atmosphere.

History, Locations, and Artifacts / Rainbow Shell
« on: December 13, 2003, 01:59:45 am »
i can add onto drumguys statement about the shape...

if that was the case then, because, if you remember, in the game, lavos was spinning through space, not just flying. so when he hit the ground and plunged to the core of the earth he was still spinning at a high rate. so when the rainbow shell was formed it was in a spiral material because lavos spun into the material.

General Discussion / Adult Swim lost its class?

i also noticed these things, although i was not as pissed as you seem to be. i don't like the shortened credits, but the thing that comes up between commercials doesn't bother me too much.

and i have morrowind for the xbox.
