So I'm playing through Chrono Cross now since I've gotten all my thirst for Chrono Trigger out of the way (played through it for 3 weeks straight, beat it more times than i can count in those weeks too ).  So, as I'm playing I get to the point where I choose Guile as my guide up to the Viper Manor.  Here comes my question.  Guile has made a bet with the fortune teller on obtaining some sort of item in Viper Manor.  I'm having issues finding this item :/.  Was wondering if anyone remembered where to get it, cause I can't remember for the life of me.

Very cool!

I've been looking at yall's website for the past month and I gotta say, I'm having high hopes for this project to come through .  I only wish I had some skill at programming or drawing to help out...but alas, I'm a math geek instead of an artist lol.  I do hope that this goes very well though!

i hate to sound negative, but i doubt any chrono character will ever see the light of day in brawl or any Nintendo related system.

but if there was the possibility, i would say Lucca. oh what i would give to see her hit someone with the gate key.

I completely agree...Lucca would be an awesome character to add.  She has both her hammer and her gun for attacks.  The Gate key would be a fun smash ability as well.

Yea, the feature is actually known as soft reset.  It was even available past the SNES and on some PlayStation games as well.  However, it is still only done on a few games.  Though I guess it's not a big deal to me cause the new games I play are on the x-box, and that lil green button on the controllers works just as well lol

Wow, that looks pretty good.  I like the little caption on it.  The meaning to me personally is that Schala never did anything for herself as long as we knew her.  Things such as closing the portal in order to save Crono and his companions from the prophet and protecting Janus by doing what her mother demanded.

Nicely done.

Hell there.  I don't know why it took me so long to regester an account here, but I've been visiting this site for over 4 to 5 years.  The one thing I loved about this website and the forum here is that I could read all the indepth theology concerning chrono trigger/cross.  It may be considered somewhat nerdy, but I love going indepth on this game mainly because it's always been my favorite lol.

Ok, a little information about myself I guess.  I'm a college student working his way through school attempting to get an education degree.  I've already obtained an associates degree and I'm going to start student teaching most likely spring 09.  I remember a teacher once telling me that all good teachers in the world act as sages...they not only give wisdom but also seek it.  So, thats where my username comes from .  Anyhow, aside from school and work I'm usually hanging out with friends, chatting on forums, or playing games.  And here of late...the chrono series has been on my mind.  I just got done playing through chrono trigger...for like my third time in the past week lol...and now I'm starting up on chrono cross again.

Well...I guess thats enough for a first post.  I've joined this place in hopes to talk much about the chrono series as well as some other things.  I probably should have done this sooner, but I was content with the massive Encyclopedia you have on these two games .

Hope to have some good conversations with you all
