Chrono Trigger Modification / Re: Crimson Echoes Plus
« on: February 09, 2023, 10:26:07 pm »
Oh it's ok, one would think that after all this time both the CE team and SqEnix would be more relaxed about it, but it's completely understandable.

In any case, if anyone's curious, you can still apply the MSU1 patch on CE. I just used Cthulhu's method to be safe which uses a batch file instead of a simple patch, but it's compatible with most if not all hacks/translations. Not gonna post links or anything, Google what you need.

Get the CE Final rom, drag and drop it (make sure it's .sfc) into ExHiROM.bat from Cthulhu's patch, and done

Is this still going on? I'm very much looking forward to it!

Also this is a great opportunity to take advantage of MSU1 enhancements, I'm open to make some new tracks/arrangements to go along with this revival if needed!

I found that in RD's music page there are pages for each track, and each track has a "Original Japanese Title". So I have two questions:

1) I thought the music test was added by Demiforce, tho I can't find confirmation for this. Are these names taken from the original game?
2) If so, what do they translate to? I found that "Under the Moonlight" is actually called something like "Lynx's Forest ~ Beginning of the Night", which is nowhere near close.

General Discussion / Re: Playable or Just Video?
« on: June 16, 2018, 01:02:17 am »
I assume it's just a video, if it is playable it's definitely not a hack, probably made in an engine like Unity or Unreal or whatever (I don't imagine RPGMaker is capable of something like that, is it?)

Still, it looks f*ing awesome, nice find!

General Discussion / Re: How do we get CT characters in Smash?

Yeah Brawl modding is still active to this day, last I checked there was Frog and Magus too, and even a Magus' Castle stage. I haven't looked into it for a few years tho.

Edit: my memories are a bit corrupted (no Magus stage), but this is what I was talking about

First Squenix has to do something relevant with the franchise, as in no more half-baked ports but a real remake or sequel. Then get it on Switch or 3DS.

Kingdom Hearts is another good chance. I mean, Neku is there, seriously wtf (except KH3 is the last one I think? I'm not into the series so I'm not sure). Then also get it on Switch.

Btw there's a bunch of guys working on the game, they're releasing everything on this page and there's a dedicated Steam group and a Discord server.

General Discussion / Re: Mitsuda Appreciation Thread
« on: November 27, 2017, 11:00:51 pm »
Thanks for reviving this thread, it made me realize that Faust didn't upload all the ISON tracks, but that was my fault because of how I tagged the files. The tracks missing were arranged by someone else, but Mitsuda did compose all the music.

I still have the album if anyone wants it, just hit me up ^^

PS: Xenoblade 2 hype!

Medina Imps love cake

Also I always found interesting that they had refrigerators and stoves in 1000AD, from a technology standpoint. But now I wonder what kind of diet they had too, and as ThatGuy pointed out it's obvious they're quite carnivorous. As for what they eat exactly, the only thing I remember is in Arni they make Heckran Soup.
