Chrono Trigger DS Analysis / Re: Chrono Trigger DS Analysis HQ (Spoiler Spoiler, of course)

Because your understanding of the way time flows is wrong.
Atleast that is what I am thinking. If the DD is beyond time, it can affect anything it wants.

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Re: A Possiblity of Misunderstanding?
« on: January 02, 2009, 11:30:03 am »I think Lavos is rendered quite inactive after he erupts in 1999AD and then gets buried by rubble creating Death Peak. I think part of its nature is to significantly reduce the chances of its spawn being destroyed by life on the planet, so he wipes out life on the planet. Like how we, to a smaller extent, lock our doors to protect our children and valuables. Its just a preventative measure.
I will agree with you. When Lavos destroyed things in 1999 it was just to ensure that the locals would not harm its offspring. Also, I do not see Lavos as evil, but just as an animal doing what it needs to survive. The Entity is doing the same thing during the game. Opening the gates to allow something the possibility to destroy Lavos.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Magus: Humans didn't know what he looked like?
« on: January 02, 2009, 01:39:24 am »
Wait.... Maybe I am thinking about something else, but by the time you have Magus all his statues are gone from 1000AD. They were replaced. Everybody is thinking about the black omen.

Chrono Trigger DS Analysis / Re: Official CT DS Differences Thread [IMMENSE SPOILERS ON PAGE 5 ONWARDS]
« on: December 27, 2008, 05:21:41 pm »All life begins and ends with nu. This is the undeniable truth, because I believe it to be so. At least for present.
Not nearly as powerful of a statement as in the SNES translation.
This is really off topic, but I like the picture in your sign. Made me laugh.

General Discussion / Re: E3 Discussion
« on: July 23, 2008, 09:40:33 am »The Xbox 360 is multicore, and each core is multithreaded. The Cell processor used in the PS3 has 7 SPUs working under a PPC core (as I understand the architecture).
Yes but they are allready pusihng it to the limit. The only ps3 game that uses all of it is MGS4 but it can do more.
And not only say the damn PS3 Bluray and 180p support when Xbox 360 has only 1080i.
xbox has 1080P.

Also, when I say "regular fans" and Temporal Flux, I mean to speak of people who are interested in making a modification but otherwise do not have the time and drive to simply learn the program. Temporal Flux really isn't that hard, but tutorials might open it up to a wider range of fans.
I would like to see some Temporal Flux stuff and some rom hackz. I have some ideas that I would like to put in the game, but I do not know where to start.
