I found this site awhile back.  http://www.i-hacked.com/
It's Not as the name suggests.   They "hack" technology.
They tell you how to install Mac on your pc and other cool stuff.  They have a forum too.  Tell me what you think.

That would be nice, but there is other recordings that I need to do without snes 9x that are having problems.  What Format does Snes 9x record in?  I have seen some files recorded on emulators in very strange formats.  I think I have the latest version.  How do I record?

I am trying to record the sound test from Radical Dreamers in MP3 Format.
I need some help though.  Nothing seems to be working right.
Everything worked perfectly before, but not now.
I am using
The SNES9X Emulator
Easy Cd Creator 5
Audacity or Wavepad (these do the same thing, They are editors)

SNES9X doesn't have any problems, but it seems to cause them.
When I close out SNES9X everything works right.  The only problem with that is I need It to record.

Easy Cd Creator's ERROR Says this:
Quote
Unable to use sound card for recording.  Another application may already be using it.

When I click the play button in audacity it says
Quote
Error while opening sound device. Please check the output device settings and the project sample rate.

When I load a file or hit play in wavepad it says
Quote
Please check that you have selected the correct sound player device using Settings.  Open Settings using File->Settings.

I'm sure they are all connected somehow.
It can't be problems with the capabilities of my computer simply because it only started doing this recently.  It likely isn't the programs because I was using all of them before and they were fine.  Plus, all three programs seem to have the same problem.

Someone please help.

Yeah...
I thought I could contribute to this...
I was wrong.
Due to lack of good programs, artistic skills , organization, etc.
Things like this can be pretty time consuming.
Especially if you don't have the time.

In short...
Pay him 5 bucks, beg someone else to do it, or do it yourself.

Well... I believe it was Colgate.  I think it was the whitening toothpaste.  It was white and the finest texture I could find in the closet.  The texture was based off of what the site told me to do.  And then I put a little vasoline on.   :)

Wow that was a fast reply!!!!!!!
When I tried toothpaste it actually worked, with the help of vasoline, but only for a while and not very well.  It eventually got worse the more I did it to keep the disk alive.  Only recently has it stopped working almost completly.  I can play as far as the dead sea.

No Offence taken.

I don't have it chipped, but I found claims on the internet that you didn't have to with the right software.
Truth is I've never needed a chip and I don't know if I want one.
I'll try what I'm doing for now and if it works, Great! Otherwise I'll just have to go on Ebay for a new game.  Cleaning it may not work all the time, as I've found with various methods online.  Yes... Even toothpaste.

Thanks for the hints but I don't have a mod chip or a backup copy.  I suppose I could Unzip an ISO (or maybe I can still get the files off of my disk), but I still don't have a modchip.  Is there another way over this? cough cough hint cough cough! [/size]

It's kind of funny that he would try and sell it when there are already downloads for it online.  In fact anyone could download it and put it on a cartridge.
Pretty cool they linked to the compendium though.

My Chrono Cross disk is dead, I mean really dead.  I get to many parts in the game and it freezes or sounds and looks... strange.  I have tried to fix the scratches (in just about every method) and yet it is still... dead.  I don't like emulators because they are not so good with... anything.
Any ideas?
