Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / If there were to be a new Chrono game...

What would you like to see in it?
I would love to see some voice acting. This is a horrible list, but...
Crono- I think Joshua Seth maybe... (Voice of Young Knives from Trigun, Tai from Digimon)
Marle- I looked and looked, and the only voice I thought could possibly work was Kate Higgins (Sakura from Naruto)
Lucca- Rachel Leigh Cook (worst on this list I think, but the voice of Tifa)
Robo- Anthony Daniels, hands down. (C-3PO. Who else?)
Glenn- Absolutely no clue whatsoever. Help?
Ayla- again, no clue.
Magus- Billy Zane, possible Steve Blum (who were Ansem from KHI and Vincent Valentine, respectively)
Schala- Mandy Moore (Aerith, Kingdom Hearts 1 (KHII had a different actress, and she sucked)
Zeal- Pat Carroll (voice of Ursula. Sorry, but I hear that damn laugh, and I think Queen Zeal every time...)

I remember seeing a 3D rendering of Lavos a while back on this forum. It had kind of a dissection thing, and then the full picture. Does anyone have it?

General Discussion / CC Changes?

Okay, I know that a lot of people love Chrono Cross. I also know that there are a handful who hate it. For me, it was my first real RPG, and I fell in love with it. Still, the one thing that gets me wrong is the sheer number of characters. 43? I mean, really. They could've done 7 no sweat, or 12 if you really wanted to push it.
I probably would've kept Serge and Kid (duh), then altered what characters would join your party based on the branching.
For example:
Viper Manor Branch:
Giule/ get Sneff later
Nikki/ get Miki later
I didn't care for Pierre much, but you could use Luccia as a third guide, and get Grobyc later.
Save Kid Branch:
Glenn
Razzly
And instead of having all three Devas eventually join you, have a three-way split at Riddel's rescue.
Karsh
Zoah
Marcy
And of course, have Riddel join after the Porre invasion.
Keeping Harle, Sprigg, and Norris to join your party as Lynx, this cuts it down to... 10 plot-essential characters, ending up with 9 at the end, as Harle leaves. If you wanted, you could even add in Radius, and maybe Zappa.
So, I guess the question is: If you could change one thing about either of the games, what would it be?

The title is self-explanatory. Who do you use to kick the most butt?
If you're talking Chrono Trigger, then I use Magus, Crono, and Robo a lot. They're my three favorites.
In Cross, I gotta go with the nigh-unstoppable combo of Serge, Glenn, and Kid. Three of my five favorites. or else Lynx, Harle, and Norris.
