Chrono Trigger: Prelude to a Dream RPGMaker Project / Quick Update!

Hey guys! Lance here, and I have some news regarding Prelude!
I've begun work on a couple things. For starters, I'm trying to learn how to give Crono full frame movement just like in CT! It's not looking easy, but hopefully I should be able to figure it out soon enough!
Second, I know there's been a lack of media regarding Prelude. Usually, if I make a new scene or something and it's fairly spoiler-free, I'll take a screen or two and share it with the fans. The scenes that I've been working on in chapters 5 and 6 are VERY spoilerish. You'll just have to wait and see for the full game to learn what the scenes are all about!
And finally, I've been adding new, non CT music. I've been using music from Trigger and Cross so far, but I've recently included some tracks from Xenogears, Xenoblade, and Shadow Hearts. Hopefully all the songs will work out!

I have finally returned from my Honeymoon with my new wife. 
The wedding was incredible! Happiest I've been in my life! The honeymoon following was equally incredible.
Also, I got to meet a couple of Compendiumites over the weekend! MrBekkler and Boo, The Gentlemen Caller are incredibly nice people and I'd love to hang out with the both of them some more! Anyway, I'm back! PtaD is still being worked on!

Hey guys! Long time no update!
I've been moving into my new apartment with my future wife, working, and other crazy stuff. I've had little to no time to work on PtaD. However, I AM working on it, and I'm nearly done with chapter 4.

Full coding on the next dungeon began today. The mapping was done by TheMage, so you guys should totally look forward to this one. It's sexy.

I saw an article on Kotaku today asking what achievements older games would have if they used today's system. The picture pretty much said it all for me. It brought up the question what Chrono Trigger achievements would have been? Obviously, a Spekkio Victory achievement would be in order. :p

I was messing with the color palette for the text window, and I got this. Keep in mind, we're trying to further separate ourselves from Crimson Echoes now that it's been leaked, so expect some new face graphics as well.
Ignore the poop-brown backdrop. I edited it to have a light grey backdrop instead, but I haven't taken a screenshot of it yet.
Here's how it looks in battle:
So, whatcha think? Red will still be an option, but what do you think of the Blue as a default?

General Discussion / Sometimes, people can be truly the most horrific thing on this planet.

Earlier this evening, a girl on my university's basketball team was stabbed to death in her own apartment complex. Since February 14th, there has been two shootings, an assault, and now this. This truly sickens me that someone could actually take another's life. I can't even begin to think of the horrors that the family is going through at this moment. I send my most sincere sympathy to them.
I really can't help but wonder what kind of person would do such a thing? It really baffles me to the point of anger. I've always viewed life as an incredible miracle that is apparently a rare occasion. Life is limitless potential, and this athlete sadly got cut short. I didn't know the girl, but I heard she was one of the best on the school's team. I hope they get sentenced to life in prison.

UPDATE:
The ownership of RMN has shifted to a new user who has revoked the impending doomsday. The site will remain open, and you will continue to be able to get Chrono Alter, Chrono Shift (Demo), and Chrono Trigger: Prelude to a Dream (Demo). However, I will continue to use the Compendium as the primary source for news because RMN may still be a bit unstable.

As some of you may or may not know, RPGMaker.net, the site that hosts Overture's Chrono titles, is going to be shut down on April 2nd, 2011. This is NOT a joke.
On that day, you will no longer be able to download Chrono Alter, Chrono Chronicles, or the upcoming demo of Prelude to a Dream. Instead, I plan to host these titles on MegaUpload, and provide all the games on the Kajar Labs section of the Compendium. I will search RMN for any other Chrono related Projects, download them, and rehost them here on the Compendium.
Currently, I am in talks to get an official Overture Studios website created. Once we can finish the deal, the projects main site will be moved there, with other sources hosted on the Compendium.
