Magic, Elements, and Technology / Epoch and the Conservation of Time
« on: July 22, 2010, 03:16:34 pm »
When the party firsts arrives at the End of Time, it is said by Jaspar that when four or more 'beings' enter a Gate, the Conservation of Time kicks in and sends them to the point of least resistance - The End of Time. What is a 'being', exactly? It's easy to assume that it is an individual, a person. This can't be the case, however, for one reason: Robo. Robo is not 'alive', but rather an insanely advanced machine.
So, why does the Conservation not affect the Epoch? It is from another period (either 12000 BC or 2300 AD - is it ever clarified?) and therefore should count as a being. Yet, when you travel in it, you go straight to the destination and not to the End of Time. Why?

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Drifters?
« on: June 06, 2009, 03:14:52 pm »
When you first wake up the Guru of Time (End of Time, Lampost Guy), he says something along the lines of "Ahh, more drifters...", and then gives a slight explanation.

Who are these drifters? They can't be a Woolsleyism as they are mentioned in CTDS, too, and they had a different translator.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / El Nido and Evolution
« on: November 26, 2008, 01:43:02 pm »
To my understanding, Serge destoryed FATE, which allowed the El Nidans to esacpe the islands, yes? Surely this causes a paradox other than the Chronopolis Paradox.

It is enveitable that eventually, someone from Chronopolis (An El Nidan) will breed, and this family will progress to the mainlands. The family will continue, and, eventually, a desendant of this person- possibly the person themselves- will board Chronopolis.

This poses a problem. The family will repeat, and evolution will contine from this future person. This family will instantly become perfectly evovled, as evolution will occur indefinately in this time Paradox.

With poses more problems. Eventually, they will become a separte speices, and as such, unable to mate with humans. What happens then? It's a paradox, and it's more dangerous than the FATE Paradox.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Zeal is based off of Austrailia?
« on: November 13, 2008, 04:34:34 pm »
This just occured to me. If I'm right, accents are passed on through genes, exactly like hair colour, eye colour, etc. And, to my understanding, a clone is an exact replica of someone or osmethings genetic code.

Ok, so Kidd is a clone of Schala, yes? The way she talks is the Austrailian Sterotype (sp?). Normally, this would mean she has an Austraillian accent, or at the very least, an austraillian upbringing.

So, considering all of this, I have two questions:

Presuming that Zeallians have an accent, would it be Austraillian, if you take what I said into account?
Or, failing that, and given that Lucca rasied her, are the CT/CC team Australlian?

Chrono Trigger Modification / Hmm.

Could someone help me, or at least direct me to a tutorail for this? In Temporal Flux, I create a tresure chest. I put a tile in it's place, and when I run the game, the chest is there, but the tile is not. Help me, please!

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Colony?
« on: July 19, 2008, 12:08:22 pm »
I hope this is original, but not stupid.

I think Lavos is a biological Colony Pod. Think about it! He acts, in some ways, like one. I had to write about what I would program something usefull in the future to do, and I did a Colony Pod. Here's how it went:

1) Find a Planet either capable of supporting life. Go to step 3.
2) If there are none, Terraform.
2a) If there are some, but there is already life, hibernate until:
2aa) Life becomes extinct,
2ab) Or, if life seems to be prospering, destroy life, any means necessary.
3) Reproduce.

Basically, I think Lavos did Steps 2a, 2ab, and 3. (I think Chronoia (Crono's planet, as I have now named it), was slightly off for Lavoid Life, as it is shown that Lavoid and Human can live in 2300, just Humans live in bad conditions.

Time, Space, and Dimensions / Is this possible?
« on: July 17, 2008, 10:12:56 am »
The Time Gates lead from one point in history to another, while leading to the same point in time. I have two questions.

Firstly, shouldn't every person who passed though a Time Gate end up at the same point in spacetime? I mean, lets say, someone goes though a gate five times. All of them, who passed though that gate, should end up at the same point in time. I don't think I'm being very clear, if you don't understand I'll re-word it.

Secondly, if the Time Gates and The Epoch can travel though time, what are the chances of there not being anything else in the exact place they appear? (A TimeGate/Epoch appears phased, like passing though a wall, a ghost. Just they stop phasing half-way though.)

Is it me or is Lavos basically the same as Galacticus (The giant Silver Surfer badguy)? Think about it..

They are both huge.
They both are, or, in the case of Lavos, have a part of them that is, Humanoid.
They both "consume" planets.
They both have something that was supposed to be beneficial to them, but this backfired majorly.

That last ones a little hard to explain.

Galacticus had the Silver Surfer. He was supposed to help him, by finding planets. In the recent Rise of the Silver Surfer movie, he blew the living daylight out of him.

Lavos had the Planet, to harvest. Food. Food is good. If the Planet is the Entity, and it did create the Time Portals, therefore ending Lavos's life, Lavos's harvest of ChronoEarth backfired.

What'dya think?
