Kajar Laboratories / My CT poster...

Well today we got to have a little freedom during speech class, and got to do a 30 sec speech on whatever we wanted.
I chose CT, and while it was extremely difficult to talk about such a great game in 30 sec, I managed to get it in under 40. Not too shabby. Here are a few pics of my visual aid. I know it isn't that great, but I did it in a half hour the night before, and since it was a 30 sec speech I didn't really care. All images courtesy of compendium, lol.

I liked how it came out so much, that I am going to make a much nicer version, with the same general layout, on poster board, and using outlines for all the characters. Maybe also add a background of sorts, and of course put the names of the characters underneath them, and possibly in letters corresponding to their elements or style.
This is going to be sort of my summer craft, I guess, but who knows, I could get it done much sooner if I get motivated. By no means am I an artist, hence why I used printed out images, but I think if I took my time it could turn out very nicely, and make a nice wall hanging for my room lol.
This thread I guess is to track my progress, and also to post my final product when it is finished. We'll see how it turns out, and feel free to add input on potential ideas, but keep in mind I'm not a great artist, and it is only going to be roughly the size of like a movie poster you'd find at the movie theaters.

Chrono Trigger Modification / CT+ Demo 2 "Eternal End" / Bug Report Thread

At long last the CT+ Demo2 is here!!
Things to note:
This hack is HUGE. So huge that for now it is spanned across 2 roms. The included PlayOrder.txt will explain how that works. In addition, there is a big in-game reminder of when to load ROM2.
This is still quite buggy in a few places, Glennleo and I are still going over it. Don't be surprised if you find text corruption or a black screen of impending demise somewhere. So save quite often. I apologize if there's any point where you become stuck and cannot continue... though I haven't come across anything like this yet.
Also, when in the Ocean Palace keep in mind that the "Zeal Mages" can freeze the game when they use their "Lock Tech" move. I can't figure this out as to why this occurs yet, so be aware.
I WILL be making a follow-up update that I will release in the coming weeks, so that any thing that I find will be patched.
But for now... courage.

General Discussion / Well 5 years later...

I beat Kingdom Hearts for the first time, and I must say I was pretty impressed. I only beat it on Normal, so if I get really bored, I probably won't, I'll try it on expert, but I see no real point in doing that. Would I even gain anything?
After beating the game almost perfectly, I missed a blue trinity somewhere lol, I must say that I am ready for Kingdom Hearts II. But something keeps telling me that that game will be twice as long as this one, and I don't know if I have that kind of time this semester lol.
I'm not saying I won't buy KHII, because I will, hell it's only 20 bucks, but was curious as to people's overall enjoyment of the game. I've only heard good things so I'm expecting those kind or reactions.
And I know now why people are upset we never get any of the Final Mix versions over here in the states. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix just looks so much more polished. I really wish I could play it, and by that I mean not buy a modded PS2 and learn Japanese lol.

General Discussion / Who is your best match for 2008?

OK, back to reality.
Well I was recently chatting with a fellow Compenidian, and he sent me a link to a very simple test.
The test, taken with a grain of salt as he put it, would determine what potential presidential candidate you best match up to in the upcoming 2008 election. IT basically matches you up to a specific candidate based on where that candidate, and yourself, stand on certain issues.

My match was Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich (D).
Weird since he was from my state, but even weirder is that he is a Democrat. I thought I was more on the Republican side with my views, but perhaps I need to re-think a few things. Perhaps because I am a college student.
Now I don't want this to turn into a Republican vs. Democrat debate, but I am curious as to who the rest of you, if you take the quiz, match up with. Have fun!

I was browsing GameFAQS this morning, to view the latest poll, and new Top 10 list to see if either sparked my interest, when the Top 10 list caught my eye.

Hmmm. I know what series better be at the top, but will they do CT that honor?

A little recognition for our much beloved Chrono Series. I know it doesn't mean anything miraculous, or that it will hype up the Chrono Series enough to make a new game or anything. But GameFAQS is a somewhat large community, and if they get behind this idea who knows what we could accomplish. This could be the first of many mentions of the Chrono Series deserving new life.

Chrono Trigger + / Glennleo's Bug Report Thread

I didn't know where to put bugs that I found so I just figured I'd make a topic for it.
1) Truce Inn, and Mayor's Manor NPC dialog is completely jacked. I can still click yes or no, and stuff and it works, but it is unreadable. Sometimes it is invisible text, and other times it is a random scramble of letters and symbols.
2) I went into Guardia Forest to lvl up a little before going to 600AD, and the Hekate were displaying 0/0 HP. Was weird since I didn't have the Sight Scope that I was even able to see that data. I'm going to fight some more monsters there, and the Hekate again, to see if I can even beat any.
If you can teach me to take pictures of ZSNES without doing a print screen, I'll add pics for these bugs as well.

I dunno about you, but I am sooo pumped for Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
Today at E3, they just announced the game will be released on Dec. 3rd!
So I figured I would make a countdown/discussion topic for the game that I love sooo much.
If you don't know already there is a website that gives daily updates about the game. It can be found here.
Let the BRAWL begin!

Me being the perfectionist that I am want to face Spekkio in his Amphibite form, but I can't seem to get to him before I hit Lvl 10.
Any tips/advice on making it to the end of time at Lvl 9? Is it even possible?
