Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / CT translation won't play

This seems like the proper place to put this... I tried applying the translation patch, using both headered and non - headered, and it simply won't work in either zsnes or SNES9x. The headered version shows the first screen, but when I push start, it fades to a certain point and the game freezes. The other version crashes zsnes. My original ROM plays fine. Has anyone else reported this problem?
