Yes, Nano banana takes the 2d model to look 3d, then meshy to create the model.
It saves a ton of time for me.

First I use Nano Bannana from google.
Prompts like this.

Then move it over to https://www.meshy.ai/
Here is Dalton from earlier.

Gets the basic shape, take into sculpt. Then retopo it down.

I have been at these for over a year now. And have gotten a lot done. I don't lie, AI is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

« on: October 21, 2025, 08:11:42 pm »Thanks! Yeah, proper retopo is a pain in the ass. I find it to be kind of a slog, but you kinda have to do it if you want to UV unwrap and rig the model. Plus it brought my imp down from 1.6 million tris to just over 64k. Could probably go even lower if I was better at it.
That is correct. It takes forever to correctly do a retopo and make it useable.

Looks Fantastic.
To speed up my process, I use a auto Retopo. Problem is the AI will mess things up when doing so.
You are doing it correct, I'm just trying to get some models out fast, and they really can't be used till they get retopo'd like how you are doing it.
Great work.
