Looking sharp...

Been going to a class near the ol' Hotel El Nido I snapped some pics of a while back.  Always a nice little touch on my walk.  Maybe I'll get some new ones up.

I like this idea.  I, of course, haven't started yet.  Sucked into Phoenix Wright.  Still,  I'll update it.

Well.  Shit.

I think I'm gonna fire her back up!  I had made it fairly far, the music is just ball bustingly good.  Gonna start over, and let's see if we can get some good names down!

A friend of mine and I recently beat Final Fantasy 3 on the Wii VC.  I was the 2nd player, battles only.  Took us a year and a half and almost 60 hours.  Totally awesome.  Now I just wish that CT had a similar feature...

So after more discussion she said it wasn't for the money and that she really enjoyed it.

Good riddance.

Jim Ross retired today.  You may or may not know that I love me some pro graps.  And "Good Ol' JR" was a voice that carried a lot of my youth.  And eventually morphed into a homage-like constant impression of the man.  He called matches that were defining moments of my youth.  And it's sad to see him step away, maybe on his terms but not going out like he should.  Yah it's tough to do and can get convoluted (and asinine) but there is a throughline of a story told every single Monday going back to January 1993 and still continues now.  Jim Ross was a big part of that.

Silly?  No doubt about it.  But it's a reminder of the constant motion of life.  We get older and things change.  But we'll have the memories.

Well, before I get all emotional and existential over a wrestling announcer...thanks Jim.  By Gawd he's been broken in half!!!!

So good, his voice is used for anything monster related in sports.

Got on the list at the Comedy Store (they take 16 out of 60 plus) and did fairly well in one of the toughest rooms anywhere.  Tom Arnold was there and laughed at some of it.  I don't like/give 2 shits about Tom Arnold and it was still a cool feeling.  For all the open mic muck I go thru this made everything worth it.

Kinda like golf, where there's that one shot soooo good it keeps you coming back for more.  More cursing in sandtraps but still.

To me, Tom Arnold will always be the guy who took a shit to Salt 'n' Pepa's "Push It" in Soulplane, the only movie I've ever seen alone in the theater (long story).  But I guess he was sick in True Lies.

And for the record I have absolutely looked for my phone before while speaking on it.  Just one of those "well I suck" moments.

Been away again for a month but yea man, absolutely!

Glad you enjoyed my buddy's album he worked very hard on it.

Granted, 99% of my knowledge and experience is performance, not "behind the camera" so to speak.  But hey, any and all.  When it comes to creation I'm always a "why" guy instead of a "why not" even with our awful, awful sketches.  Which I will post sometime...in the future...

Anyway, thanks for the patience (even though it's not necessarily for anything specific) as I come and go and come and go.  You rock brother!

It was me who wasn't around.  Eeeeeasy now.

Friend of mine has been pumping out tunes.  Currently has an album out under the name "Wallification Of Sound" to give you an idea.  I haven't spoken to him about it yet, but I know it's an area he wants to get into, whether it be from a song he's already written or a new one.  Big electronic feel to it.  Not sure what you had in mind for your detective.

Haven't written a song (on a comp) in some time myself, but always enjoyed it.

TUSH

Been a couple months since you posted it, but are you still looking for a short opening score?
