Indeed. And good catch. I've become so inundated with LotR movie stuff that I'm getting rusty.
Tolkien never describes elves as having pointed ears. In some obscure notes somewhere he makes one very brief comment about their ears being "leaf-like". However it is not considered to be cannon since he never made it part of any formal work.
As far as appearance elves were just really tall, really strong humans who had glowing or "bright" eyes.

In order to "Get" math when you're not a math-head you have to eat,sleep,and drink it. You have to turn it upside down and inside out an hundred times and apply it to everything you have. Tell stories using it, even. If Magus knocked Glenn from a cliff at the height of 432 feet, given acceleration due to gravity of 9.8 m/s/s and a weight of 132.5 lbs, how many lbs/in^2 would his feet hit the ground with given a surface area of 42.4 square inches, ignoring wind resistance?

Magus is like Drizzt, minus what I call the Spice Girls Factor. The Spice Girls spread themselves way too thin. The same thing happened for Drizzt. The nice thing is that there is not a whole race of Maguses, unlike a whole race of Drizzts, therefore stopping said Spice Girls Factor.

Honestly, I'm not that excited.
At first I was really excited when Captain B sent me a message on facebook (after adding me again, because he DROPPED me!
), but then after reading that it's not that there won't be any major graphical changes (I was hoping for a 3D makeover like FF), but it looks like they're just going to add a dungeon and a touchscreen.
