Just heard about Leslie Nielsen passing. A lil crushed. He was a bit of an idol for me. I remember seeing him in this turrible Z-Grade Sci-Fi flick (The Forbidden Planet) and I was blown away that it was him. There was the man who had made me laugh so haard I cried before, even though technically it was after. :D
I know I'll miss him.

Whoa, this is the first I've heard of it. I must really live in a bubble nowadays.
Frank Drebin has returned to the Planet's dream. So long, and thanks for all the laughs!

Leslie Nielson died?? Bollocks! He was hella funny in his prime. Hope he gets some good laughs in from beyond the grave.
-
I still remember 'The Forbidden Planet', though I don't remember the name.

Loved those movies, or at least the first two.
In his honor, the best Leslie Nielsen moment ever:

I think reality actually one-upped Nielsen on that one:

Alas, surely he will be missed...
And don't call him Shirley.

Nelson wasn't one of my favorite actors, but I did enjoy his work. God bless.

That man was really funny.
Wasn't he the actor of that guy in the Police Academy movies?
