All I know it has to do something with damaging intellectual property and restrictions.....whatever they are.

It's Yet Another International Copyright Treaty that American corporations have been trying to distort for their own ends. michaelgeist.ca will probably have some intelligent analysis and discussion, if you don't mind it coming from a Canadian perspective.
