Title: How damage are calculated in CT ?
Post by: Musa on June 28, 2010, 12:14:59 pm
I was wondering how damage are calculated in Chrono Trigger ?
Do you have any idea ?

I made some research on the compendium and I only found how damage are calculated in Chrono Cross (http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Game_Mechanics.html), but nothing about Chrono Trigger !
I would like to know it for the battle system of my project : http://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/index.php/topic,8615.0.html

Oh perfect!
Thanks a lot utunnels! :)

By the way, I'm surprised that monster's defense does not appear in these formulas.

Hmm, i wonder whether you want to use that in RPG maker.

BTW, I recall I read some topic on another forum before. I searched the keywords and found it is from a gamefaqs article: http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/563538-chrono-trigger/faqs/17035

By the way, I'm surprised that monster's defense does not appear in these formulas.

That is because their defense are mostly around 127, you can check the gamefaqs link for details.

I would like to try at least!

Very interesting article from gamefaqs, it seems more precise, monsters's defense is considered!

Ah okay, thanks for the clarification!
