Title: Crimson Echoes Soundtrack
Post by: cylex7 on July 28, 2009, 01:08:19 am
I have been watching the playthroughs and I love the new music that they have put in! Sad that it is gone, but I love it all the same. Anyways, does anyone have a link to the soundtrack?

cylex7, I imagine Claado Shou's tracks will be made available at some point. As for the other tracks, I'll reproduce the info I snuck into the torrent downloads.

Haha, I have to say I laughed when a Violent Encounter showed up. I love the SotC music! ^___^ It was quite nice hearing it in the CE playthrough...like a little bit of homage to that epic soundtrack.

I thought Shadow of the Collossus would be less recognizable than it turned out to be. It's awesome that Koh Ohtani has a wide following.

I do love how they put Violent Encounter in there! Love SotC! Great boss music! Thanks for the help FaustWolf! :)

Not sure how much of a help it is to some(helped me plenty)but while you wait for any news of the original songs getting up I searched Youtube, got help from a friend, and made a few calls(yes I went to a lot of trouble for this)and found the game's songs. Well, the ones I'm putting up is Tsugani Atonement cause that one's much harder to find the right stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_DvQYieVd8 DEPARTURE AKA PORRE VS GUARDIA 1 AD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceLavuS90XY THE DEVIL AKA ZEAl'S SONG AT END OF GAME
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiUInHLbf_Q BATTLE WITH THE DEVIL(You have no idea how hard this was to find, those 27 views are from me and maybe 3 other people only) AKA THE FINAL BOSS SONG Someone on there seems to recognize it. In fact, they are the friend I was talking about. Seems they knew about Crimson Echoes and never told me(just like they hadn't told me they are a huge Chrono fan, just still won't join Compendium don't know why)

Hmmm...I dunno if this is what you're looking for, cylex, but check out the Crimson Echoes "Inspiring Music" (http://crimsonechoes.com/Inspiringmusic.html) at crimsonechoes.com.

Onslaught, thanks for digging up those Tsugunai tracks. That was a really kickass soundtrack, and some of Mitsuda's greatest work was on there. They weren't intended to be in-game or anything though; I sort of flew off the handle and stuck those in as tributes to great pieces of music in general.

I think out of ZeaLitY's inspiration mix for CE, we used...
"54 AD794 - Celestia - Square Music Arrange Festival - Epilogue -My Dear DTMers- [Goodbye for a While]"
...as the background music for the first half of the February trailer.

And...
44 zykO - Chrono Compendium - The Queen with the Silver Eyes (Dream Extension) [Crimson Echoes]
...as the background music for the first half of the April trailer.

Also...
28 Bau-hauss - 2005 Le Cercueil du Reve - Chrono Trigger Arrange - Remains of the Factory [Huacan Robotics]
...appears in the Huacan Factory section of the Lucca/Robo chapters.

And part of...
57 Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon - Use the Ice Kunai on the Fox's Fire (Festival Temple) [Nevermind, Keep the Book Open]
...was going to be used as this cool little jingle in some preview videos at one point. Hah, the memories.

I didn't see Claado Shou's tracks created for CE in the features though. Anyone find them in there?

These ones should not be as hard to find but just in case they are, you're lazy, or whatever reason and you feel like doing what I'm doing(gathering every song to make my own soundtrack, although I'll have to wait for Shou's songs and a few others unless I don't mind the gameplay's noises in the back of it)here are the others I can find!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ILBQHuY7QM - SNAKING FOREST
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0s_eDBSj8U CRONO, FROG, MAGUS REPTITE OVERWORLD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvlfNZ685B8 CRONO, FROG, MAGUS TRIP TO REPTITE LAIR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GPvG3oYqoI CRONO, FROG, MAGUS AGAINST HARD BATTLES WITH MINIONS IN REPTITE LAIR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZBDbNgwT88 BATTLE WITH ANTAEUS(sorry bout quality, for some reason the only thing up there is a live version of the song so it may not sound as nice but it's better than nothing right?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idoekQ1td9E (HELL YES!)FINAL DUNGEON THEME
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBgOFEvhmqk BATTLE WITH KASMIR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D26WdUoJnqg THE FAIL OF KING ZEAL

Enjoy! I'm trying to get moments in the videos where there isn't nosie over this wonderous music, but it seems impossible! I hate this waiting... X.

Thanks again Onslaught! I love that these wonderful pieces of music are getting attention and free advertisement.

Dead Can Dance's live performances have been particularly lackluster, at least the ones I've seen on Youtube. The albums are totally where it's at. Maybe I'll get a clear "Avatar" up on Youtube with a link to the song for single MP3 purchase. Truly an astounding piece.

I'm currently trying to meld together the quiet parts(without action in the background of the songs)together to create full things. See if it's possible to do that and then upload the songs!

Claado Shou, "Battle 3" Very hard but I think over a mix of videos maaaaaaaaaaaybe... this is a strong maybe most likely...no... :(
Claado Shou, "Sheltering Light." This song gave me the idea in the first place, all the times it's used combined and cut this one would be a snap!
Claado Shou, "Modus Dissonantiae" Once again maybe, although not as hard as Battle 3, still toughie...
Irfan, "Peregrinatio." This one is also more possible. I'll see...
DP, "Mobius." Beyond the Shattered Mirror This one I'm not as sure about but they're all worth trying at least!
Bau-Hauss, "Remains of the Factory." Why i can't find this track or mp3 is shocking! You'd think you could find this somewhere, but I'm gonna have to try my magic on this(why don't I have Shadow elemental music scan magic?!)
DP, "Impish Subversion." Beyond the Shattered Mirror This one ought to be a little simpler with all the talking, but it's still tough...
Sefiros, "Transferred Consciousness." Deconstruct  I'll give it a go but it might be a little harder(it doesn't play as much)
PLBenjaminz, "Determined." Chrono Symphonic OK, so the albums are up but this track...I don't understand but I'll give it a go(but I think the videoes play it for about 25 seconds :( )

I believe that's ALL the tracks I've covered now. So now it's just a matter of some hard work and possibly pulling some miracles...

I PRAY! PRAY WITH ME IT CAN GO SUCCESSFULLY! If so, you shall have your soundtrack your welcome!
If not, you'll have 1/2 your soundtrack your welcome!
AWAY! :franky

Definitely wait for Claado Shou's as opposed to snipping them together; they'll be up at some point I'm sure.

Bau-Hauss' track is in ZeaLitY's inspiration mix.

Any track by Sefiros is available via his MySpace.
http://www.myspace.com/sefirosoriginal

For "Beyond the Shattered Mirror," Mobius should be easily found on a site called Soundclick.com, but for the life of me I've completely lost track of where I downloaded "Impish Subversion." It might go by the name "Impish Subversions" plural, but I'm not even sure DP did this track now.  :?

As for Irfan, looks like Amazon offers their albums track-by-track for $.99 each.
http://www.amazon.com/Irfan/dp/B001QVA7UK/ref=dm_ap_alb2

Their newest album, Seraphim, is a huge step up from their original album in case anyone gets hooked on this style of music.

EDIT: Whoops, my bad if I said "Determined" was on Chrono Symphonic; I must have mislabeled that. It's a standalone OCRemix.

Nope. Even with this new info I still can't find on Youtube.

I'm better off waiting. I've tried snipping, only 1 AD's theme is possible, the rest aren't. I'd rather get the bundle than one so I'll be patient.

Yeah, thanks for all the sources I'll give em all a check out! Actually with all this stuff I couldn't help myself I've begun working on a drawing I get a feeling from much of the music. Dark, mysterious, epic. It's supposed to be similar to like how CT's cover is Chrono in cold and with different clothes cause of the climate. The difference is I've made more of a heat theme, still a robe but more like one you'd see from an egyptian tale to block off the sun, wrapped around him. I just drew it out in pencil and I'm on the next step. I'll try and put it up in Kajar once it's finished.

Wow... A lot has happened here since I was gone... First off, Thanks everybody for the help on this! Second, when all of the music is organized and gotten, could somebody please make it an easily downloadable file (like megaupload or filefactory or rapidshare)? Thanks everyone!

Cylex, the Claado Shou tracks are up now on the crimsonechoes.com site. As for the other (for-profit) music used in the videos like Mythos and Irfan, you could probably find it on Rhapsody.com with their free account; "elsewhere"; or hopefully throw the artists a bone and buy the tracks as Amazon MP3s for $.99 each.

Claado Shou is hella talented. Mobius is one badass song... especially in CTA IV (SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION  :D  :kz )

Careful to attribute Mobius properly: it was done by a musician named DP as part of his experimental freely available music project "Beyond the Shattered Mirror."

Define 'properly'? Also, Soundclick does not have 'Mobius' in the listing. When did someone last check it? It could be my browser.

I can't remember where I found Mobius but if you want it I have the file.

Just so the end user knows the source of the track, so musician name and album title if there is one.

That'd be swell. I'd like to use it in my Flash animation plus it's a good track to listen to in general.

Umm schala... are you the latest person to review CTA IV on Newgrounds, I had a feeling it was you, but I wasn't sure.

I was just wondering if that was you because I thought it might be I just didn't know. You should have just mentioned that you were the one from the compendium lol.

Claado Shou's tracks should be available at crimsonechoes.com now cylex. If you're interested in some of the tracks used for the CEMemorial videos I won't be distributing those, but I should have a text file somewhere around here pointing to download sources when they're freely available.

So since this is a dead topic... and it is a dead projects board, necroposting shouldn't be THAT bad, right? Anyways, anyone have a music link to the songs in this game? At least a tracklist of the ingame-order? Or, as I have said before, a zip file? Thanks!

Thank you, but I was also wondering about the other songs that aren't originally in CT (like the amazing final battle and final level songs). Thanks, for the link, ZeaLitY!
