I chose Namek because Piccolo wasn't what I was aiming for since I assumed it didn't really look like him. Besides, Frog is named 'Frog' and Piccolo is more than 6 characters.

Great work so far! Every detail counts. By the way, when you make comics, do you make a rough draft first on computer or paper? And how big do you make the file size for you comics before you scale them down?
That Chancellor was a major advocate for the criminal justice system which, in 1000 A.D., went awry and lead to Crono's imprisonment. If Crono hadn't been imprisoned, he never would have found the gate to the future. Or, rather, the Entity would have facepalmed and re-located the future gate to someplace Crono would have eventually found.
Of course, not EVERYONE can be saved by revives...
In the newest one, there's no difference in the face between Crono and Marle. None, it's like they have the same cheeks, jaw, eyes, eyebrows, mouth, even their expressions are uniformly blank in that first panel. Also, bighead Lucca doesn't look "pissed" enough if that makes any sense. If you're exaggerating the size of her head, her expression should be exaggerated as well, like eyes stuck closed and mouth wiiiide open with top and bottom teeth showing, spit flying out, the works! I just don't think you "nailed it" so to speak. The last two panels are perfect examples of what I'm talking about, the expressions are priceless there!
I mean no offense by my critique, but I really do enjoy your comics overall. You keep a very high standard in your line-work, coloring, and composition, and you should know that does not go unappreciated! And your backgrounds are very well-designed.

My criticism is that I think your Marle design has lost way. Maybe go back to the basics. I love the central panel from your earlier drawings (http://mysticalpha.deviantart.com/art/Marle-jumps-for-joy-128453112) of her. The word bubble says "thank you," but the look in her eyes says "I'm a Sheikah who could kill you with my bare fingertips and I only let you bump into me because I think you're cute and in fact my whole bubbly persona is just a facade to conceal my ruthless ambitions for the throne of Guardia!"

Interesting assumption. I believe that some people can not help who or what they are, and the best way (that works for me) to get through it is to make the best of what you've got rather than wish it were different. I do understand everyone's different though and that others may not believe the same things.
I think having goals, dreams, motivation, etc. are fantastic, and some really do get to "live the dream" so to speak. However, many just wish they could, which is rather sad. In this instance, if PSZ has a legal name change, gets some blue hair dye, and insists she is from Zeal, and makes a few other changes that are already in progress, then yes, she could be "a" Schala. But she will never be "the" Schala. As long as PSZ is comfortable being a Schala and not the Schala, there's no problem. But it seems as though that's not the case, hence my concern.
I only wish to be *the* Schala of those I know. Perhaps in general the only Schala, because I know even Zephira isn't as nutty as me, and she likes to be me too.
I guess I'm a Schala by general term, but THE Schala when it comes to commitment that probably crosses sanity's limits.
Though, if I know I'm insane, how can I be insane to begin with?

Isn't it obvious? Giant "codipiece filler" is stinking hilarious. And awesome. Partially because a lot of people expected it. Crono isn't usually seen as the type to beat up cats, but that's what makes it funny. Maybe he even got XP from it! Frankly, it seems like something that would be seen in lots of old cartoons.
Though I have to wonder... will that joke from the statue page raise any questions amongst the party when they meet Magus in his castle?

I'm a first time visitor to Chrono Compendium and I'd like to tell you a little about my connection to Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger is the very first RPG I ever played and still the on my top list of games. It has also left a long lasting impression on me especially when Crono "died". I felt disconnected for a week.
I live in NY and started drawing in 1995. Today, I'm trying to make ends meet in a job I hate. That doesn't get me down. I keep on drawing. I decided to take the next step and start a webcomic. The goal is to pick a game, play through it and do a webcomic in chronological order to poke fun at certain scenes, elements, gameplay, characters, etc. I blew the dust off my deviantart account and started posting them as I draw them. It's no easy task since it takes a while to finish just one. So far I have 4 comics uploaded.
