Did you guys ever think of putting a boss fight in that fort? Maybe a fight with Kasmir? I don't want to spoil too much but I think it might've been better had you gotten to kill him there, since he's not that compelling of a villain... just my thoughts, of course.
-
But who knows what mysterious deeds KZ has for ol' Kassy. Great chapter, I liked the minigames. Also, whe on the neo Epoch, I noticed 2305 AD is the SECOND last notch.... That last notch wouldn't happen to lead to a ceratin God of war and old man would it?
-
Kasmir......still has a quite a bit to do....
We never had plans to put a boss fight there. The regular fights were difficult enough and i wanted the focus to be on fun/games.

Ah, okay. I suppose it'd be pretty lame to have a Giant Space Flea Out Of Nowhere pop up if you weren't planning on having Kasmir fight the heroes, so either way it's fine. It's just, so much hype went into Kasmir's Fort... it's like a big bad dungeon that seemed impenetrable... maybe the most epic dungeon in video game history that did not have a boss. I'm the kind of old-school guy who thinks there should be a chicken in every bucket, a car in every garage, and a boss in every dungeon. :)
-
Well, I guess in a way this wasn't our heroes fight. This was Ozzie/Flea/Slashes fight to free the mystics from Kasmir's grasp. There was a boss (Kasmir) but the mystic warriors fought him :).

Those lucky guys

Those lucky guys
xD Hey, they ain't so bad! The three combined are awesome!
And I really liked Flea's dialogue there.
I'm going to dance on Kasmir's sad little grave! ♥

Is Kasmir a Mystic and can shapeshifting like other ordinary Mystic? That can be say on Mystical Knight too. To me, it is better to hide by shapeshift into human and using illusion to cause chaos. That will more better than hiding in a fort.
I agree with RySenkari, I kind of expected the heroes to fight Kasmir, but it is not. I guess because it is impossible to loaded Mystical Knight and Kasmir in one room? Nice solution
Z did such a great job on Mystical Knight dialogue, in a way to be comic relief. Love em.

Kasmir is a Mystic illusionist. In the original plot outline he didn't have illusion spells, but when we added the Masamune-less timeline I added this aspect to explain why Glenn didn't manage to kill him between 600 and 605 AD. Kasmir hides in a secret fortress and only send illusions of him to the battlefield so he never risks his life. I was vaguely inspired by the Lichs of D&D or the Russian legend of Koschei the Deathless (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koschei).
-
Ah shucks. I was hoping for a CC-like powerup for Frog when they got the Masamune back. Masamune 2 ^^
A quadraple fusion would have been nasty 8).

His death is inside a needle, which is inside an egg, which is inside a duck, which is inside a hare, which is in shock (In russian this joke sounds better, I swear) Would have been an interesting quest/boss fight))But that's probably not for chrono universe.
Back to the topic. Nice touch there with puzzles in Kasmir's castle. Ozzie is always in a jam *laughts* That's his bad luck...Hm...i wonder, what has happened to the mystic trio in this restored timeline? I guess, they never appeared on the stage in 605.
-
I loved Flea before all this but ....Wow at the dialouge !! <3
Hope he gets more screentime
-
Wondrous as usual. I wish there was more Turnip though...
*EDIT*
So, will project kid be full explained in this or not? It always confused me. It would make sense in this game.
-
Kasmir's stronghold was beautifully mapped...and that music...amazing. These chapters were quite exciting, can't wait to see what else is in store.
-
I haven't had time to watch all of these yet, but my god - I'm in awe. This is amazing. You guys accomplished so much.

I guess that will need Schala to be in a certain place with certain someone else for Belthasar to even think of creating Project Kid.
If anything of the former situation happens during CE you can be sure Belthasar would at least consult Lucca and Robo with the plan.

This has nothing to do with whatever discussion is going on, but is it Dragon's Tooth or Dragoon's Tooth? I could have sworn it was always Dragon's Tooth, but I think I saw Dragoon's tooth mentioned in one of the videos...now I'm going insane.
-
definitely dragon. Was Dragoon in commentary or in dialogue, either way it's a typo.

I saw it in the dialogue by the NPC giving the foreshadowing to the FF. (About a better power source)
-
What are we at, 400 minutes of video? That's four full length movies! Congratulations, the next hour and a half of video, and you beat Futurama.
-
The line in my sig has got to be the funniest thing I've seen thus far. :D
These vids keep getting better and better.

What will happen if Frog bring his own Masamune back to 11995 B.C.?

What will happen if Frog bring his own Masamune back to 11995 B.C.?
That could have worked perhaps, but Frog's Masamune is more powerful than the original one (in CT it was repaired with fresh Dreamstone straight out of Prehistory), so there was a risk that it could have still changed the timeline. Putting the original Masamune back to where it belongs was a safer solution for Belthasar and the party.
