Someone at Romhacking.net made a table file for the US version. It shouldn't be too hard to rip the script.

I did a text dump of the US version.

Some trivia:

Yeah, the French version was translated directly from Japanese and doesn't use any name from the English version. Some names are the same as in Japanese (Alphard, Grandléon, etc.), some are the same but with a different spelling to conform with the French pronounciation system (Zhyle, Lynne, etc.), and some are localized names (Ibis for Sylbird, Gren for Frog, etc.). That said, I still haven't beat the French version...I have my copy for good measure but I finished the Japanese one that had English text.

What would be interesting would be to check what pronoun they gave to Azara. The English script says Azala is female but as far as I know her sex was never specified in Japanese.

Too cool, I'm going to have to give this a shot and see how much of my French has stuck with me since dropping it in '02.   :D

The French version does use "Janus", but that might be the only English localization overlap.

"Il" (He or neuter) is used for Azara.

Nizbel : Si vous cherchez Azara, il est un peu plus loin.

Gender isn't mentioned in Nizbel's line when you try to pass through after talking to him.

Here's a text dump of almost all the text in the US version.
Credit should probably go to Takti and some others at romhacking.net for making the table I used after some modification.
There are some hex-bytes remaining, and centered lines aren't formatted yet.
The script dump alternates between English and French.

I'm from Quebec and I speak french(And speaking french when every state of north america doesn't sucks).

A couple of those french translations suck for the reason that they need to not be too long. But is anyone playing this in french? =|
