Wouldn't SE give this a C&D order? I mean, you are using their sprites and we all know how cranky they are.

This is only a flash video, it is safe. The big C&D concern is using their game engine. Also, this flash video is NON-PROFIT, so Neo Fusion really has nothing to fear.

Makes me think... Maybe Crimson Echoes should be worked on more, but instead of releasing the game, release videos of it... I mean of the completed game.

I think PSZ means that they make videos of the 100% completed game, as opposed to the 98% version. With Glenn instead of Frog, that kind of thing.

Exactly. Keep working on CE, but release it as a video series. Keep the actual game a "friends and family" release, if desired.

I am really tempted to make it completely available, but I would have to finish the flash series first and that's planned for at least 20 episodes.

I don't think that Square will really care as long as it's not a fan game.
And they probably won't go after it till it's 98% of the way done.

Either way Square can say whatever it wants if I want to I will do it. It will just stay in the family and such.
