Not sure if of you heard, but 3D Realms closed down...the news is a few days old, but I didn't hear about it until this morning. Well, it looks like Duke Nukem Forever will never ever be released.

Like I said here (http://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/index.php/topic,3151.msg159547.html#new) I'm just hoping that the rights to Duke will be handed off to a company that will actually do something good with him. 3D Realms has suffered from the "not good enough" bug for almost a decade now, scrapping ideas before they even try them.

Yes, and the Halo movie is almost into post-production.

He saved his reciept so I'd assume so. Then again I never tried getting a refund from Game Stop before, especially for preorder money down.

Price of new video games hasn't changed much in the last 30 years. Value of dollar I believe is down from when that preorder was made though. So in a roundabout way, if he gets his money back he may make a profit.
