I've been wanting to add another secret boss to the Schala Project along with Dream Devourer, but I'm unsure of what to add that would be a cameo appearance from Cross or anything.

Holy cow, and I thought you were going all-out before.
What are you willing to use as graphical resources? Something from another game that looks the part, or do you plan on spriting a big baddie?

Either or, whatever becomes more dominate in choosing. Just need a base for it.

One or more of the Dragon Gods (maybe the original Dragon God) would certainly be interesting. The Red Dragon God is fairly believably covered here (http://www.spriters-resource.com/psx_ps2/alundra/sheet/15509), for example.

Faust, would the feasibility of the Singing Mountain work for Mount Pyre?

Wow, sounds great. Does the Singing Mountain have lava in it? There was a CT:DS environment with flowing lava, but I can't think of any in CT:SNES that had flowing lava. If not, we can just use the glowing floor effect seen in the Ocean Palace and the Sun Keep.
If you're seriously considering the Fire Dragon God, what we'll have to do is make most of the body part of the background, with the head and maybe the hands Size 1+ enemy sprites.

Singing Mountain with a palette swap had lava. It was just water recolored though...I think. I'd have to check that out. Maybe we could mix and match tilesets for it, or possibly find a whole new tileset to import.

Looks good. I think the same palette swap would be possible in the final CT ROM, so it's probably just a matter of getting the Heckran Cave tileset palette swapped in a new location. Shouldn't be too bad.
