I just go to this point.. (thanks to work and other stuff getting in his way.) I noticed the video is different, at one part in the video at the beginning. it freezes for a second or two, and does the same at the end. like a computer glitch.. this didn't happen in the SNES version. But it makes it look better. :D

Are you sure? I seemed to recall the screen glitching in the original as well...
-
At the end of the recording the screen freezes for a sec, this didn't happen in the Snes version if I recall
-
Somewhat unrelated, but is the 1999 AD map expanded at all? I know there's a complete mini-map for it, but the actual map...
-
I have no idea.
Last days I've been searching for a walk through wall AR code for CT DS, but nothing at all. If we could get that, we could try the same trick as in the Snes version, and see how 1999 AD map looks.
I don't know if they bothered making a full map for it. They did make a full minimap, so they might as well have made the full 1999 AD map. But who knows.
-
IMO if they didn't make a full map, they should, or someone should use the minimap to make one.
-
I was planning to, but I'd figure I was wasting my time if Square already did it, so I won't make an attempt till I'm sure about it

Yeah, the video is different. I noticed it, too. First off, the grid lines are different (they were green in the SNES version, gray in this one). Second off, there was a lot more "glitching" in the DS version of the video.
The DS version one was better.

Nah the Day of Lavos still has green scanlines but strange enough the video of Lucca tracking Proto Dome has gray scanlines now

You want an AR walk through walls code?

I'll try it out, thanks
If you'd happen to have the game ID for japanese version as well that'd be nice, I only have the USA one myself
