Does anyone know something about the official Chrono Trigger manga published in V Jump? I guess it's more a Nuumamonja manga cause it seems that Nu and Poyozo (isn't it a Kilwala?) from the OVA are the main characters. I own the V Jump issues 11/96, 12/96, 1/97 and 2/97 containing chapters 7 - 10 and many bonus pages about Chrono Trigger, for example a 3D model of Robo.

Although I'm curious...why does Chapter 7 contain an advertisement for Chapter 17? (I know I'm probably misunderstanding this; it'll help encyclopedia classification of what we have.)

I wonder who that frog is... Could it be Spekkio in his first form? I guess it could just be a random frog, but then what would his name be since it certainly can't be "Frog"/"Kaeru"?
Ozzie, Slash and Flea visit the End of Time... I wonder if their appearance in the Bend of Time in CC was inspired by this. Hell, I wonder if this manga can actually be canon. Nu and co. encounter Lavos in the bucket but Ozzie and co. don't (at least in these chapters). CT never gave the indication that Ozzie and co. had visited the End of Time, but Gaspar does say that recently "far too many folks are just popping in here". Then again, CT was released before this manga apparently, so this quote isn't a good argument... but still, it would be awesome for our "image" of the Chronoverse if this story could fit into canon nicely.
Anyway, this manga is now like the Holy Grail of the Chrono series as far as I'm concerned. We absolutely NEED to find the whole collection and translate it :!:
