This isn't really advertising as I care less about that aspect.

I am curious as to me it used to be the best site for midis due to the upload system where you get a dozen a day but now it's down to a trickle as of a few years ago,         There are several games on the Nintendo consoles that are largley incomplete.                 

The format is outdated and there is not much of a 'community' even though they claim it's one.    Don't even start on the forums they are a joke. :shock: (http://img2.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/confused/confused0003.gif) (http://www.mysmiley.net/free-jumping-smileys.php)

I know midi is dead but they are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY smaller then mp3s and can sound very good if you have the right soundcard and/or soundfont installed.  (which many are free)    You can have a 10min band midi and the space will be only a couple 100 KB!       Is it something I typed?  Why all the silent treatment?  Cmon people help me out here.     I don't want to be doing anything wrong just by venting my @$$ frustration on this website.

So what do people think?  Is it wayy outdated cause I think so even though it has good midis,  Was my last topic too long or something? Cause, no one replied.   :(

Maybe no one replied because no one cared. Don't just make a new thread because your first attempt was a failure...From what I've heard VGMix was never super great, but that VGMix X's layout is now horrible garbage...But, hey, like it says on the Compendium front page, at least we've got all the Chrono mixes from VGMix 2 (http://chronofan.com/Black/VGM/).

Just use OCR or something...

Ah, but jokes are supposed to be funny...Perhaps that's where the confusion came into play. The stupid aspect means you've gone overboard...if it weren't a redundant lolcats w/e-tf maybe we all could have enjoyed in the mockery. :lol:
