Chrono Trigger Rated E10+ for Animated Blood, Mild Violence, Suggestive Themes, and Use of Alcohol.
It would appear that the new port will also feature a new translation of the script as well, including all the bits and pieces left out of due to censorship and all that silliness.
And, according to another source (where ever that source went) it sounds as if they may try to include the Singing Mountain dungeon that was cut from the final release. --I hope this isn't the "new dungeon" that they are advertising though ;-;
*crosses his fingers for a special AD1999 super dungeon after you beat the game*
So, thoughts on any more hopes and dreams about the new port?

Chrono Trigger Rated E10+ for Animated Blood
what
-
I can't seem to find it at the moment because I'm lazy but I'm pretty sure this same thing has already been done. Recently in fact.
-
This was already announced in the news section (like, if you look on the Compendium main page), which is also mirrored in the news section forum...This is the thread it's in (http://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/index.php?topic=5990.0)
Not to mention the dozens of threads already about the new upcoming port.
-
Tha's it! Curse my laziness. I just was about to post that too because I happened to come across it...

Chrono Trigger Rated E10+ for Animated Blood
what
Lots of blood in the animated PSX cutscenes
which I like that they are included but... I really hope there's a disable feature so they don't fudge the flow of the game.
-
So, what's with the misuse of the quote boxes...?
Anyways, I've still got my fingers crossed that the cutscenes get redone or that there are more...
-
I don't think they would do the same cutscenes for a different game. That'd be a lack of work. Or at least if they did, make more. That'd be lazy, and SE isn't USUALLY lazy. Reason I caps that is cause they do have their lazy games, everyone does but this doesn't seem like one.
-
Uh, well, this is still just an enhanced port, really...and they were pretty lazy with CT's last port...
-
I refuse to believe it, even if I have to plug my ears and start going la la la like a little kid. I have faith they'll do good with this port. Especially considering it's getting a lot more attention than the last one, SE HAS to recognize that.
-
I think part of the reason why it's getting more attention is BECAUSE they did such a lousy job with the last port.
-
So what, with the last port did they just add the anime scenes and that was it?
-
No, the main part that most people point out is that they basically just slapped the ROM onto the disc, which lead to the slowdowns people noted. There were also a few "extras" that could be unlocked after you get all of the endings (thus making the unlockable Beastiary absolutely useless). The one thing I liked was the Music Box that included the unused tracks (which all kick ass). I hope they find a way to implement the other tuns like the other Battle theme, that'd be sweet.
-
A feature used in movies, that was adapted to videogame style in Team Fortress 2, was a director's commentary, on making the game, the updates, changes, challenges, ect. I think some kind of directors commentary for CTDS would be totally awesome.
-
Isn't the Meet-the-Makers ending sort of a director's commentary? Shortened of course, but still.
-
Yeah, that doesn't really seem like a likely thing for a DS game, especially since it's basically just another "enhanced port".
-
Well I definitely wouldn't mind content from the creators themselves.
