"Is this a prequel to Chrono Crusade?"
"I hope they didn't use that one site's retranslation."
To both of those answers, I'd tackle, then beat the shit out of the people who say them.

I really hope Magus doesn't become the emo sex symbol for teenage goth girls worldwide.
"I can't believe they made a sequel to that crappy PSOne game. It was so bad I never finished it."
Sorry Boo, you're a bit late to the punch there ;)"I can't believe they made a sequel to that crappy PSOne game. It was so bad I never finished it."
"Psh. It's a ripoff of Kingdom Hearts!"
I had a classmate.
In the Seventh Grade.
Who said that about Final Fantasy.
And.
He.
Was.
Completly.
Serious.
AAAAAAAAARGGHFUCKCKKCKKKHJGOLNELFOQK:HFOSQDNGOJE.
If a kid said that to me, name, phone number, address, shotgun, and he's gone.
I fucking ripped him up, and he still thought he was right. And then he uttered the words that made me sick to my stomach and made me lose absolutely all faith in humanity.
If a kid said that to me, name, phone number, address, shotgun, and he's gone.
Really you'd wait to collect infomation.... I'd kill'em the moment they uttered such blasphemy
It is the parents fault, really. Parents need to start their chil'un with the basics. Get them an Atari or if need be an Atari emulator when they are little, then gradually move them up to NES, SMS, SNES, Genesis etc. Its tough when you start with the games nowadays and try to go 8bit.
the 90 was the high point for most it seemed, like CC, Xenogeres, Baldurs gate the backgrounds were stuning hell remove the sprites/models on some of them and they could be framed.Couldn't agree with you more; the 90's were the golden age of gaming─surpassing mere nostalgia and the meme of instant gratification, whilst transcending to the tier of 'art'.

Thats beauty.
Whenever I see little starved children standing two inches from the TV playing their Dad's copy of Halo 2, I want to cry becaus I know that little boy will probably never experience the greatness of retro gaming.
"Hey, I think my big brother had this game for his Super Nintendo! Before he went off to the war and got killed, I mean."

Worst thing would be some 10 year old kid who thinks he knows everything saying to someone else "You don't want that game, I already tried it. Its like zelda, but like a gazillion times worse. Try this game. Call of Duty 4."I tried that game out, and did not like it.
Me: *eye twitch*
Gamestop employee: Oh yeah, it is one of those chinese knock-offs of Phantom Hourglass
Me: *permanent eye twitch, jaw slightly agape for all eternity*
Also, is it just the Gamestop I go to, or are Gamestop employees all over total liars. Because not a single one has ever known anything about a game unless it was an FPS. And they act like they know about other games, even ones they didn't know they had.
Yes, I made the mistake of trusting them on the Lunar game for the DS. I found out the hard way it wasn't a remake of the original.
Okay, that didn't post my response only the quote
**Kid walks in**
Kid: Chrono Trigger? . . .
Kid looks at cover strangely, then returns it to the shelf
Kid: Where's High School Musical 3: The videogame?
I still don't get why HSM is so popular. I saw the first one, it was alright, but nowhere near as good as the advertisements say. I think I'm just prejudiced against musicals. There are only like 2 or 3 I actually like.
Christ, I thought Mamma Mia was better. I don't think a movie should be called a musical if all the the songs sound the same.
Oh was Mamma Mia good? I didn't see it (I don't trust commercials at all) or are you saying you didn't like it, but it's still better?
Personally, with all the Disney hate here this will be hard to believe but Lion King is my favorite musical. West Side Story 2nd.
Scar is widely regarded to be one of the greatest Disney villains of all time. Scar's role in the story is based on that of King Claudius in Hamlet while his personality is reminiscent of Iago from Othello whilst also bearing some allegorical resemblance to Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler. You can't get more bad-ass then Scar.
Oh don't get me wrong I don't hate Disney of then....I hate disney of now....
Hell I'd take there blatent obvious racial sterotypes that are featured in pretty much every movie anywho to there stupid plots, sequels, popstars, ect. of now
That's why I practically watch no TV except movies and older shows. There are only like 1 or 2 shows I watch. Currently one of those is the occasional Olympics.
Yes. Damn such crappy shows as House, Bones, Numb3rs, NCIS, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and The Office. Mordern TV shows just can't compare to I Love Lucy, Alf, Blue Thunder, AfterMash, The Dinah Shore Chevy Show, or Dallas.
<.<
>.>
Every era has good and bad forms of entertainment; the era in which we live is no different. Sure, there is crap on TV, but there are also wonderful TV shows that are well worth our time. Same with movies, same with books, same with music.
It's Sturgeon's Law, after all.
Hmmm...I don't know how to take that since Bones & Numb3rs actually DO suck...
I love Doctor Who myself.
Hmmm...I don't know how to take that since Bones & Numb3rs actually DO suck...
More than I Love Lucy? You're just being cynical now.
Though I think one of the reasons I like those two shows is that they glorify academia.
They need to put new people in charge of television, and these new people are more in touch with the older shows, but at the same time are able to come up with new shows with that old show feel.
I don't know if that makes sense.
Everyone seems to love writing like this lately, my email, this forum, facebook, on little notes for me when I wake up. What is with that?
Oh wait, one modern show I do enjoy is Stargate. But I get the DVDs, not on TV.
I don't see anyone giving Lost or Heroes much love! Now those shows are GREAT!
Um, for the record, House is pretty much one of the best shows on television.
What I mean is(this is gonna sound like a corny TV show idea in itself)get someboy new to the business together with someone who worked on one of the older shows.
Shenanigans!
Anyways, Heroes is at least halfway decent...Season 2 kind of put me off because it was kind of bleh, but I'm willing to assume that was mostly due to effects of the writer's strike and will give it another chance with Season 3: Villains. Lost never really interested me especially now that I hear it's insanely convoluted.

WOW you can't beat anything that uses the word Shenanigans hehehehehe. But seriously never say that near anyne from TV or they will try to make a corny TV show out of it.
What with current US tv producers seemingly loving to import shows & basically remake them, I wonder how long it'll be before we get an Americanized Dr. Who...>_>
And the cerebral BBC four-part TV miniseries Eleventh Hour (UK, 2006), with Patrick Stewart as government scientist Professor Ian Hood, gets an American remake, too, due out in 2008. To judge by the available plot summaries and casting, they seem to have dumbed down the science to make space for action, removed every topic considered "controversial" in the USA (like global climate change) and apparently added a love story between the professor and his female bodyguard (who was played by Ashley Jensen in the UK version). Certainly the actor they cast for the scientist's role (Rufus Sewell of Dark City fame, as the protagonist Jacob Hood) is younger and "hotter" to draw female target viewers. (Disclaimer: this [1] editor does not consider Patrick Stewart old and ugly, quite the contrary.)Link- http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Americanitis
Compare the IMDB plot outline for the US remake ("A government scientist and his attractive counterpart try to save people from deadly scientific experiments.") with the plot outline for the UK version ("Eleventh Hour is a new TV series which stars Patrick Stewart as a scientist who works for the Home Office"). Just saying...
I warned you :lol:What I mean is(this is gonna sound like a corny TV show idea in itself)get someboy new to the business together with someone who worked on one of the older shows.

I know, that's why i used that word here. However, you really can't use that word. I have a cousin who works in TV. I suggested the same thing. He came back a week later with an idea he was going to propose to his boss. It was so bad I wailed him in the back of the head. HARD. Trust me, he deserved it...
