What if we had some sort of built-in media player? I don't know what the correct word is, but something like a podcast? I dunno. But you can turn it on or off, skip songs... like an MP3 player for the site. This is great for some who have no access to music (my MP3 player decided to go into red-blinky mode and my mom's compie has no media files on him.) or who wants to get a feel for the music (sometimes, I want to abduct Yasunori and Nobuo and make them run around in circles... what? It's better than SOME fangirl fantasies! *shudder*) and stuff.
Keep in mind, right now I'm in a fit of rage and anyone who insults my idea will cease to live. :D

Well this (http://www.chronocompendium.com/Forums/Themes/compendium/images/bbc/flash.gif) should embed flash but that doesn't seem to work, otherwise you wouldn't have this problem.

I think she meant a server-side web application that functions as a music player (like on MySpace). Some problems I see with that would be copyright infringement concerns, loadings times, having to keep the page open for the music to play and annoying 'buffering'.

Some kind of MIDI player might be nice...though would it be possible to convert CD quality music to something MIDI? Well...anyways, I know there are better players now-a-days, so w/e...

http://www.midishrine.com/index.php?id=5 (http://"This") might help. It has midi files for CT music. You can play it in the background while you're on the forums?

If such a feature were ever added, I would probably always turn it off. Don't get me wrong, I love the CT/CC soundtracks, but I have 100 gigs of music that I'd most likely rather listen to.
I mean, The Elected, anyone?

One day... One day this world will be prepared.

It could be cookie based, some turn it off some don't. I still think the embed flash needs reworking, and spoiler tags.

I use Foxytunes (http://www.foxytunes.com/) to use my browser as a shell for my music player; it avoids the nasty issue of concurrently streaming music between pages, not to mention copyrights.

Definitely, agreed.
