Title: Holy fucking shit batman!
Post by: nightmare975 on December 15, 2007, 01:19:50 am
No fucking way! I loved this movie! I can't believe they made a manga of it!

Though it kinda looks sort of like a yoai.

It seems suiting that a girly fantasy/adventure movie be turned into what looks like a girly manga...

If you don't care about something, no one cares that you don't care.

Eh, David Bowie is kinda(read: really) weird in the movie(and in real life.) But since it was one of those movies I used to watch as a kid, it's always had a place in my heart.

Plus, it was a Jim Henson Movie with the damn muppets. ( I mean Kermit the Frog and whatnot)

No fucking way! I have never heard of this movie! I don't care that they made a manga of it!

Then why do you clutter up my topic?

I just have never found any movie with Song/dance good, with the exception of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "West Side Story".

"West Side Story" is great. When playing Capture the Flag, when I've got a group in enemy territory, and the enemy is coming, rather than scatter and run, I just keep my cool and started rhythmically snapping as I approach the enemy line. If my crew gets in on it, it can be a suprisingly effective tactic.

Also, I recently discovered a Bollywood theater in the neighborhood. Only seen one film so far ("Om Shanti Om", for those curious) but it was a lot of fun, and it had quite a bit of song and dance. Hopefully I'll be checking that theater out more.
