Since I've been w/o my comp which has Chpt 13 of my fanfic Magness trapped on it, I've been drawing the main cast of Magus/Gil, Marcy/Marcella, Lucca/Elle, Glenn/Kaeru, Flea/Mayonnaise (Kaeru & Mayonnaise aren't even in the story til Chpt 13 for Kaeru and some time in the future for Mayonnaise).
So, in order to get some in-game ideas on Marcy's Techs and how she looks in battle (even though in Magness she's 4 years older), I went into a previous save of CC. The party was already set-up even! Serge, Marcy & Harle with their weakest weapons (so I could actually build up Elemental slot energy or w/e) & armor (just so that it's fair/more of a challenge?). But where should I go to fight something? Why, the Bend o' Time, of course. So I go into the last portal I have opened (it looks like there's still one empty slot, but this one is in the topmost of the screen).
I'm up against two Combots (hooray...V_V) on that island where you fight the three forms of Vita with three grids full of randomized goodies. After looking at Marcy's Attacks & Techs in slow motion I decided there really wasn't anything here I wanted. I guess I'll just Google some female boxers or something...BUT! Since I was bored and CC was already started up, I figured I'd send these Combots off with style.
So I end up having Harle cast Black Hole, which just plain looks cool when you fast-forward & slow-motion in just the right places. Well, right before the screen goes black in the beginning of the tech, I noticed some pic flash on the screen, but I couldn't quite tell what it was, so I had her cast Black Hole again and paused it when it happened...
The pic shows three people. An older female behind some youth and to the right is some kind of person who's whole head is just kinda white nothing like those wooden artist models that people use to draw the human figure...

At first, I thought that the two people were Schala & Janus, which they could be, I suppose, but I think the third figure goes against that...Along with where I was, I figure that the pic is actually of the three Fates (Clotho, Atropos, & Lachesis). The future, being uncertain, is often figured as a faceless person, after all...But I'm not quite sure...I don't think I've actually seen this pic anywhere in any Chrono sites or anything...I wonder 1) who it depicts, 2) why it's there , & 3) if there's a cleaner pic of it...
Sorry I don't emulate so I couldn't screen grab it nor did I have a digital camera...but maybe if someone else casts Black Hole there...? I don't remember if I was in normal or dynamic camera mode at the time, either...if that matters...

I tried this out for just a bit a few minutes ago, and from what I was able to get, it's the "<time> fate" statue repeated. I have a picture, so let me know if I'm talking about the same thing you are. Link is here (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v603/DarkKnightSparda/blackhole.jpg).

Yeah, that's it...I must have forgotten about that statue...wait, where's that statue at?

In that battle area, there should be at least one statue (random in the Bend of Time) on the platform you're fighting on. I believe it's on the right side (from behind Serge), but it might be in front or on the left too.

Huh, I thought I saw that statue and didn't think it looked like any of the people in the pic...

Woah, subliminal images? That's intriguing... I second maggiekarp's question; also, did anyone try this thing in a different battle field to see what comes up?

Yeah, I've actually been wondering that myself...I mean, why would they have a pic hidden back behind the sky like that anyways? I guess it could just be to save space?

OH! I see it now! The one on the bottom is just more of the first! If you look, you can see there's another weird faceless character under the first one too! It's just duplicated lower so I mistook it for a child character! Either that or it's just for one of the other statues or w/e...Good going Chrono'99!

Hmm, looking at that picture...(not the smaller one) the person at the top does seem to be different then the bottom one. Geez...if there's one subliminal images...there has to be others. Although I can't really tell, because my eyes are dried, bloodshot, and unfocused.
When I look at the top character, she reminds me more of Queen Zeal, then Schala. Like a younger Queen Zeal...I dunno but for some reason when I zoomed in on the face, it sent chills down my spine for some reason.

You sure this pic appears in Harle's BlackHole? I never noticed it, and it's very odd, why would they put a pic like this in a element?

I'm not sure if it's just this part, or whenever you use Blackhole. But if there's one, there has to be more.
EDIT: You know how some elements, when you use them, distort the area around you, and project it? (Can't really explain it) But could it be possible that this element was projecting some architect that was supposed to be there but got taken out? but still show in the element?

I think the main reason it shows in Black Hole is because it's one of the Elements that erases the background image...It might work with other Elements like Ultranova or MeteorShower...maybe Lynx's ForeverZero Tech?

It's definitely the statues. You can see where everything matches up.

One last look-see. Right there on the shoulder. That cloak/hair curl is distinctly repeated.

When I look at it, I instantly think of Schala and Janus. hands down. I can practically see it in the top statue's haircut, as well as that of the lower one.

Maybe, but that's because the top one is stretched vertically and the bottom one is stretched horizontally, giving the appearance of a slender tall older figure and a chubby little kid, but the markings are exactly the same, including the back of the statue to the right of the faces. In the picture, all in all, there are 8 figures.

There's probably a lot of easter eggs in there that haven't been found, yet. You know Developers love to toss them in without saying anything.
