O Compendiumiites! With your wide knowledge and expertise in the fine arts of literature, may you enlighten me by allowing me to share in your wisdom in the use of islands as symbolisms in text! For example, ye, texts which USE an island as a SYMBOL! And of course, what and how the island symbolises!

All, of course, to expand my knowledge! Not for a school assignment of any sort! !
